Throughout the competition, Hamilton has impressed the judges. However, her road to the finale started long before she stepped onto the “DWTS: The Next Pro” dance floor. We are sharing five fast facts about Selena ahead of the finale below in our “Dancing With the Stars” spoilers.

1. She Started Dancing When She Was 3

Selena, 21, has spent almost all of her life on the dance floor.

She started dancing at just 3 years old. Hamilton eventually began gaining experience in several dance styles. Her background has been as a commercial dancer.

She has had years of training, which helped turn dancing from a childhood activity into a professional career. Her extensive background has been on display throughout the competition, as Hamilton has fought for a chance to join the “Dancing With the Stars” roster.

2. Ties to ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Hamilton didn’t arrive at “The Next Pro” as a stranger to the world of “Dancing With the Stars.”

Before she started competing for a professional spot on Season 35 of “Dancing With the Stars,” she had already worked with one of the show’s biggest names: Derek Hough.

Selena was part of Derek’s Symphony of Dance tour. That is definitely a strong tie and relationship to have.

3. She Has Performed With Major Music Stars

Hamilton’s résumé shows us more than just competitive ballroom dancing. She has worked as a professional dancer in the entertainment industry and has performed alongside some major artists, giving her experience on stages outside of the ballroom.

Which artists has she worked with? She performed on two separate tours with Lindsey Stirling. Hamilton also performed as a backup dancer for Doechii on her recent tour. She has also appeared on the “Lip Sync Battle” television show.

4. She Has Faced Elimination Pressure on ‘DWTS: The Next Pro’

While Selena has made it into the “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro” finale, it hasn’t always been an easy journey.

Hamilton has had to prove she belongs in the competition. She has faced the possibility of elimination on multiple occasions this season.

Those high-pressure moments can only spark a new fuel inside Selena, giving her another chance to show the judges what she can bring to the ballroom.

Hamilton was able to survive those possible eliminations. Now, she is competing in one of just three spots in the finale alongside Zaikman and Pritchard.

5. One Win Away From Becoming a ‘DWTS’ Pro

There is just one final hurdle standing between Hamilton and a potentially career-changing opportunity.

Hamilton will compete against AJ and Adele in the “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro” finale. All three are hoping to win and get the pro dancer spot on Season 35.

For Selena, winning would turn years of training and professional dance experience into her biggest television opportunity yet.

Selena has fought her way to this finale. Now, she is one performance away from potentially becoming the newest “Dancing With the Stars” pro.
