‘DWTS’ Pro Witney Carson Candidly Shares Emotional Message About Mom Guilt

Witney Carson is getting candid about the challenges of balancing life as a mom and a professional dancer on “Dancing With the Stars.

Being real with you for a min — this week’s been a lot,” Carson, 32, wrote on her Instagram Story on October 31, alongside a mirror selfie, as reported by multiple outlets, including US Weekly.

Witney Vulnerably Talks About ‘Mom Guilt’

“I’m exhausted, the mom guilt is in full swing, and I’m just trying to keep life balanced best I can. I am beyond grateful and so blessed, but some days it’s tough behind the scenes. Just a reminder we’re all doing our best, and that’s enough.”

The “DWTS” pro, who shares two sons with her husband, Carson McAllister, has never shied away from showing the real side of motherhood.

Between long rehearsals, live shows, and parenting, Carson continues to be transparent about the highs and lows of managing both worlds.

Her honesty has struck a chord with fans, who praise her for being relatable and vulnerable amid the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.

Witney’s Glorious Stint in DWTS 34 With Robert Irwin

Carson’s candid post comes as she competes in Season 34 of “Dancing With the Stars,” where she’s paired with wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin. The duo is one of eight remaining couples vying for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy.

Despite her busy schedule, Carson remains focused on giving her best performances while staying grounded as a mom. Fans praised her for her honesty, saying it’s refreshing to see a celebrity acknowledge the realities of parenthood.

Inside Witney & Robert Irwin’s Solid Partnership

In a recent interview with US Weekly, Carson said her partnership with Irwin has been nothing short of special.

“I had flashbacks of when he was little, so I just felt, like, immediately connected to him,” she said.

“I just couldn’t stop hugging him. I was like, ‘This is so perfect.’ I couldn’t have wished for a better partner.”

Irwin, who has been open about following in his sister Bindi Irwin’s footsteps, described working with Carson as “a dream come true.” “Honestly, Witney’s just been incredible,” he said. “It’s such a huge learning curve because I’ve never done anything like this. I’ve never done anything close to dancing.”

Irwin’s run on “Dancing With the Stars” holds deep meaning for his family. Nearly 10 years ago, his sister, Bindi Irwin, won the Mirrorball Trophy with partner Derek Hough in 2015.

Now, Robert is proudly continuing that legacy, with his mom, Terri Irwin, his brother-in-law, Chandler Powell, and his 4-year-old niece, Grace, cheering him on from the audience each week.

Carson, who joined “DWTS” as a troupe member in 2013 before earning her spot as a pro the following season, said she’s fiercely protective of her partner and proud of his growth. “He is an absolute dream partner and very humble,” she told Us Weekly.

“I gotta knock him down a little bit sometimes, keep him grounded, critique him a little bit more. But no, he is just as great as you see on TV.”

“Dancing With the Stars” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+.
