After turning 95, many rumors circulated about William Shatner’s health. AI-generated stories reported the actor was suffering from stage IV glioblastoma, a very aggressive form of brain cancer.

The situation escalated to the point where the actor felt the need to address them head-on.

“My Daughter came over to tell me her daughter heard that I had brain cancer,” Shatner posted on X. “She took this photo and sent it to me to upload to prove I’m not ill. The people who are ill are those that are spreading these ridiculous stories. I’m fit as a fiddle. You don’t have to worry.”

William Shatner received plenty of support and kind words from fans on the platform.

“Is it BILL or SUPERMAN ???” “Happy Days” actor Henry Winkler quipped in response.

“Henry! speaking of Superman; I saw your repost of the Fonzie dance. I’m sure you can still do that,” the “Star Trek” icon replied. “You want me to see if they have an opening on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ next season?”

However, it doesn’t seem like Henry Winkler’s fans should get their hopes up. The 80-year-old firmly turned down the offer.

“Love to you but NO dancing thank you,” he responded to Shatner’s message.

Fans felt disappointed, but ultimately understood. Many celebrities comment on how physically and mentally draining the entire “Dancing With the Stars” process can be.
