Derek’s wife, Hayley Erbert Hough, has always played a prominent role in his performances. Ahead of this summer’s Symphony of Dance tour, the ballroom champion paid homage to his bride, showcasing her power and resilience.

Derek Hough Pays Homage to Hayley’s Journey & Recovery
Getty“Dancing With the Stars” judge Derek Hough and his ensemble have gone on tour before. Sadly, Hayley suffered a serious medical emergency while on tour in 2023. After being diagnosed with a cranial hematoma, she underwent life-saving surgeries. The road to recovery was long and arduous, but Derek was by her side every step of the way.
When the Symphony of Dance tour kicks off this summer, Derek wants everyone to keep their eyes on Hayley.
“This Symphony of Dance has truly become an ode to @hayley.erbert , her strength, her resilience, her beautiful story,” the “DWTS” judge began his Instagram post. “Like a rose 🥀 , she blooms, but the thorns tell the story too, each trial, each triumph. Returning just months after brain surgery, now again after welcoming our daughter. Come see this powerful woman, the rose🌹 of Symphony Of Dance : Encore.”
He attached a video montage of Hayley giving her all on stage. Derek concluded the post by sharing the tour dates, June 24 through August 16.

The Houghs Entertain Fans at Banana Ball
Fans love keeping up with the Houghs on social media. But they also love seeing them perform. Ahead of the upcoming tour, Derek and Hayley joined the Savannah Bananas for a fun routine.
The baseball team shared the performance on Instagram, noting that it was one performance worthy of a Mirrorball.
Now, the Houghs and their ensemble are hard at work, striving to deliver an amazing performance for fans across the country.
