On Tuesday, October 14, Flay shared a photo to his Instagram Stories showing Williamson’s hand tucked into her jean pocket with a diamond ring on full display. Over the image, he wrote, “it’s casual.”
Fans immediately started speculating about a possible engagement. Social media lit up with comments like “Excuse me… your story….. 💍” under Flay’s posts and in Reddit forums.
However, eagle-eyed followers quickly pointed out that Williamson was wearing the ring on her right hand, not her left. Others noticed that it looked nearly identical to the one she wore during a September taping of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”
While neither Flay nor Williamson commented directly, a source told People that the couple isn’t engaged—yet. “It was a gift from Bobby,” the insider said. “I’ve never seen them happier and they are fully committed to one another.”

I don’t really care what Brooke and Bobby do. If they end up engaged and then married, I hope that they will truly have respect and support from their respective children. Bobby has always been the “bigger name” on Food Network, and he flexes quite a bit of creative and decision-making muscle with them. Let’s hope that Brooke’s talent as a chef and restauranteur continues to speak for itself and that she does not end up swinging from Bobby’s coattails.
