On Sunday, October 26, 58-year-old Gordon Ramsay completed the gruelling Ironman Greece course in Costa Navarino, Peloponnese. The course, consisting of a 1.9 km (1.2 miles) swim, a 90 km (56 miles) bike ride, and a 21.1 km (13.1 miles) run, was also completed by Ramsay’s wife, Tana, and daughter, Tilly.
In the aftermath of his impressive achievement, Ramsay has taken to his Instagram account to post an adorable picture of his young son with him at the finish line.
Jesse, 1, won’t turn 2 until November 8, but Ramsay is already putting his name forward for next year’s children’s version of event!
The caption accompanying the picture read, “Jesse getting excited for next years @officialironkids ! Such a great way to inspire young kids the importance of having fun congrats @ironmantri @jessejamesramsay @tillyramsay @tanaramsay ❤️.”
Ramsay is, of course, jesting about his young son’s potential participation in the 2026 IRONKIDS event, but he does deliver an important message with his post.

IRONKIDS events are generally aimed at children aged 3-12 (or up to 15 in some formats). These initiatives transform what is often a high-stakes world of triathlon into an accessible, joyful entry point for kids, helping them to foster lifelong habits of physical activity while prioritizing fun over competition.
By integrating short, themed races with interactive elements, Ironman Greece’s children’s event inspires young participants to view fitness as an adventure, not a chore.
Gordon Ramsay has championed healthy eating in children and adults alike for years. It makes sense, therefore, that he would promote the inclusion of exercise in a healthy lifestyle — and good on him for doing exactly that.
Of course, despite the importance of the message in Ramsay’s post, most of the attention from his followers was on his son, and how cute he looks in the picture.
