Who Went Home on ‘Top Chef’?

The chefs were excited to see Emeril Lagasse join them in the kitchen tonight on “Top Chef” 2026. He was serving as a guest judge tonight, so the chefs weren’t excited to be making him livermush dishes.

Week 3 Begins

We start with Jennifer having some shoulder pain, as she went diving off something with her nephew a couple of weeks before the show. Now she is feeling that pain today, but trying to move past it. Things kick off for the new week, so keep refreshing this page for the latest updates during tonight’s episode!

9:41 p.m. – Quickfire Challenge for tonight has started. The chefs have 30 minutes to create an elevated livermush dish for guest judge Emeril Lagasse.

9:53 p.m. – Anthony, a North Carolina local, won the Quickfire Challenge, so being familiar with livermush helped him. Now they moved on to the Quickfire Challenge. The chefs will be making colorful dishes. This is to pay homage to North Carolina’s textile industry. They must create a dish that features at least two naturally dyed elements.

10:03 p.m. – After shopping, the chefs had 2 hours to prep and cook for the first night, then returned to the kitchen for an hour before service started.

10:15 p.m. – The chefs are finishing their dishes. The judges are in place. And Nana didn’t get her dish plated in time, again!

10:26 p.m. – The tasting has begun on the Elimination Challenge. The judges seem to be underwhelmed by the dishes so far and the lack of colors.

10:33 p.m. – The judges have tasted all of the dishes. They seem underwhelmed by this challenge and what the chefs came up with.

Judge’s Table on ‘Top Chef’ Season 23

Tom said this is the challenge that threw everyone off. The standout dishes for tonight came from Anthony, Brandon, and Laurence.

While the judges liked them all, the winning dish tonight came from Laurence. He was questioning himself, but he pulled it out and won immunity for next week.

The judges had all of the other chefs step forward, as they were not happy with any of the remaining chefs. They ask for explanations on why this was such a hard challenge.

In the end, Nana didn’t complete her dish, and she only gave them one of the two elements required for the dish. Because of that, she has been eliminated tonight! However, she will head to “Last Chance Kitchen” for a chance to remain in the competition.
