Who Went Home on ‘Top Chef’?
Barbecue and smoking a whole hog are staples in North Carolina. That meant the pressure was on, especially when some of the judges were local pitmasters. Five team members and five cuts of the hog.
While the 10 remaining chefs are all competing to be named the winner of “Top Chef” season 23, only one of them can win the $250,000 prize. Which chef will be eliminated tonight? Find out below with our results.

Week 6 Begins
The chefs are reacting to Rhoda being eliminated last week. Oscar said he needs to move on and be flawless in his execution moving forward. Now, we move on to Week 6 of the competition, so keep refreshing this page for the latest results from tonight’s episode!
9:45 p.m. – No Quickfire Challenge tonight. The chefs will be competing in just an Elimination Challenge, in which they will compete in teams of five to roast a hog. Yes, it’s a barbecue challenge in North Carolina.
9:57 p.m. – The hogs are in the smokers. The chefs are prepping their dishes for the next day. Then Tom Colicchio arrives to see how things are going.
10:07 p.m. – Tom surprised them with a s’mores challenge, which Oscar won. He won $500. Now the hog is cooking, and chefs are taking naps, as it’s 2 or 3 in the morning.
10:23 p.m. – The tasting has begun. The Red Team has won the first two rounds, so the pressure is on the Gray Team to stay alive.
Judges’ Table
After discussing the dishes with the pitmasters, the judges bring the chefs back for the Judges’ Table. Tom said they did really well, really tasty dishes. They paid homage to the area also. For the results:
- Favorite Dish – The judges discussed, and the favorite dish of the night goes to Laurence, who won immunity for next week’s challenge.
- Least Favorite Dish – The Gray Team was the losing team tonight, and one of the chefs will be eliminated. Justin, Sieger, and Jonathan didn’t win their individual rounds, so one of them will be eliminated.
Results – After the judges discussed the dishes, the chefs returned. The chef eliminated tonight on “Top Chef” season 23 is Sieger. He now heads to “Last Chance Kitchen” to remain in the competition.
