Are you ready for some football!? Hallmark Channel’s second movie created in partnership with the NFL, “Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story,” premieres on November 22, 2025.
Filmed entirely in the Buffalo area, the movie boasts a star-studded cast that includes Holland Roden, Matthew Daddario, Tracy Pollan, Patti Murin, Joe Pantoliano, and Steve Schirripa, as well as Buffalo Bills players, legends, and head coach Sean McDermott.
Roden, Murin, and Schirripa have all appeared in other Hallmark Channel projects, but there’s one more “Holiday Touchdown” cast member who will be especially recognizable to Hallmarkies. Longtime Hallmark star Andrew Walker makes a cameo in the film, but adorably admitted to EntertainmentNow that he “begged and groveled” for the role.
Andrew Walker Got to Attend His 1st Buffalo Bills Game at Highmark Stadium
Ahead of the movie’s premiere, Walker told EntertainmentNow that as soon as he heard the Buffalo Bills would be the focus of the next NFL movie, he reached out to some of the top executives at Hallmark Media.
He told EntertainmentNow, “I called them and I said, ‘Hey, I have never asked you for a favor. Could you please get me in this movie?'”
The actor, who grew up in Montréal and earned a football scholarship to Boston College, said, “I grew up as a Buffalo Bills fan. On the East Coast of Canada, we adopt the Buffalo Bills or the New York Giants or the Patriots. I grew up as a Buffalo Bills fan, a longtime fan.”
In the new movie, Walker plays a bartender just like fellow Hallmark star Wes Brown did for his cameo in Hallmark’s first NFL movie — 2024’s “Holiday Story: A Chiefs Love Story.” Though it’s a relatively small part, Walker said just being in the movie allowed him to be part of promotional events in Buffalo, including attending his first game at Highmark Stadium in September.
While there, he told Audacy’s WBEN, “I think it’s difficult to put (the excitement) into words, but to be here, to see it for face value, to meet all the people. To see these idiosyncrasies or these very special tailgating moments that only happen if you’re a Buffalo Bills fan, this is a really special moment for me. I’m soaking it up as much as I can.”
Andrew Walker Says ‘Holiday Touchdown’ Holland Roden & Matthew Daddario Did an ‘Amazing Job’ in New Movie
HallmarkWalker, who has more than 30 Hallmark movies to his name, sang Roden and Daddario’s praises, telling EntertainmentNow they did an “amazing job” with the movie and that he was grateful just to be a small part of it.
He humbly joked, “I’m one of the old dogs, you know? So they brought me along for the PR tour and stuff, and I was able to speak about the Hallmark brand.”
Walker was back in New York for the movie’s premiere in mid-November, when thousands of Bills fans lined the streets for Hallmark’s “Peppermint Rally” to see the stars.
Walker’s cameo makes him the only actor to appear in three Hallmark Christmas movies in 2025. He’s one of the much-beloved “Three Wisest Men,” which premiered on November 15, and he co-stars with Lacey Chabert in December’s “She’s Making a List.”
“Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story” premieres on Hallmark Channel on November 22 at 8 p.m. Eastern time or stream it on Hallmark+ the following day.

TylerHynes and Hunter King had a cameo also.
