Beloved soap star and Great American Family actor Cameron Mathison is saying goodbye to his daughter, Leila, as summer vacation ends.
The Hallmark alum feels tremendously proud of Leila as she spreads her wings and expands her studies. However, he’s also emotional over letting her go.
In a new social media post, the actor penned a beautiful tribute to his little girl and shared never-before-seen family photos.

Cameron Mathison’s little girl is an adult now and exploring the world on her own. As summer vacation draws to a close, the 56-year-old revealed his daughter Leila is headed back to school.
“And just like that, her summer home from college comes to an end😢” the “General Hospital” star shared a new Instagram update. He included several sentimental photos and clips of the pair bonding.
In one of the photos, Leila revealed that her father brings her flowers whenever he has the opportunity. Without a doubt, the actor adores his children with every piece of his heart.
“So grateful for every lazy morning, every laughing fit, every workout, every Alfred’s iced latte, her annual bday at Disney, every walk in nature, and mostly just waking up and knowing she was home❤️ Still a month left with Lucas at home though:)” Mathison shared his favorite memories with his daughter.
“Leila is off to NYC to finish her college degree after two years in Paris🗽Now go show em who you are Lulu🥰” the actor concluded the post.
“Love you so grateful for every second w u” Leila sweetly replied in the comments.
