Erin Krakow is giving Hearties another glimpse of her pregnancy with a new photo that’s delightfully tied to a longtime tradition with one of her co-stars.
In a recent social media post, the beloved Hallmark actress shows off her baby bump while perched on a log, or more accurately, a bench. This snap is inspired by her friend and fellow “When Calls the Heart” star Andrea Brooks, whom she shares this hilarious inside joke with. Krakow Finally Makes Pregnancy Pun Happen
“Bump on a log!” Krakow wrote in the caption of her March 31 Instagram post.
The actress continued to explain the meaning behind the adorable photo, taken by her husband, Ben Rosenbaum, as credited in the caption.
“I asked @andreakbrooks to make this post/pun happen during each of her THREE pregnancies and despite Vancouver having a ton of logs she didn’t do it. I have a new level of empathy for her lack of photographic drive now that I’ve reached this point in my own pregnancy. And is this even really a log? It’s more of a bench I guess. I’ll still count it if you will, Andrea,” she wrote.
Brooks, who plays Faith Carter on “When Calls the Heart,” alongside Krakow and Rosenbaum (Mike Hickam), replied in the comments, “YOU DID IT!!!!!!!! 🪵”
She added in another comment, “Brb. Going to find a log to happy cry on. 😭 🪵”

In November 2025, Krakow announced on Instagram that she and Rosenbaum are expecting their first child.
“So much to be grateful for!!! 🥰,” Krakow wrote in the caption of her post that featured photo booth pictures of the couple holding sonograms along with their dog Willoughby wearing a shirt that reads “big brother.”
Krakow revealed on March 10 that her pregnancy prevented her from participating in press for the show with her fellow co-stars, which led fans to believe that her due date may be just around the corner.

On March 20, Krakow showed off her baby bump on the red carpet beside Rosenbaum for the “When Calls the Heart” & “Hope Valley: 1874” Celebration.

Recently, Krakow posed with fellow Hallmark star Ashley Williams, captioning the post, “Adoulable,” which is most likely in reference to the fact that Williams is a certified doula, per PEOPLE. A doula is someone employed to provide guidance and support before, during, and after childbirth.
