A Hallmark alum recently revealed she is in love again after her difficult divorce. Now, the star of “A Gingerbread Christmas,” Tia Mowry, shares how she feels she “manifested” him coming into her life.
Tia Mowry Embraced ‘Solitude’ for a While After Her Divorce
Mowry recently talked with People about her new relationship. She has yet to identify the man who has captured her heart after her heartbreak. However, she has admitted she is in love again.
She told the media outlet, “I will say that I’ve been in a place of solitude for a very long time.”
The solitude came after Mowry and her former husband, Cory Hardrict, divorced in 2023. They were married for 14 years and have two children. Their son Cree is now 14, and their daughter Cairo is now 7.
During her time of self-imposed solitude, Mowry explained she was “really able to learn who I am, what it was that I wanted, and what it was that I needed. And I manifested this. I really did.”
Once she had taken some time to heal and grow, Mowry noted she stopped “talking bad and poorly about dating because it was very easy to do that.”
Instead, Mowry was “speaking [love] into existence, just being really positive about the words that you are telling yourself.” She added she is a “huge believer of visualizing things and visualizing feelings.”
Mowry also believes in the “neuroscience and how the brain works.” She believes if she continued to speak negatively about dating, that’s “what my brain is going to seek out and find.”
By focusing on speaking positively about dating, Mowry believed it would “eventually happen.” However, she added, “I really, in a way too, I was okay with being by myself.”
The Hallmark Alum Is Protective of Maintaining Privacy for Her Relationship
She has found love again, but Mowry emphasized that her priority remains being a good mom to her children. If lasting love “happens to happen, then it happens…I’m very much at peace,” Mowry declared.
During the tough times of healing, Mowry leaned into her friends and family. As she talked with People, she was attending the Jhpiego Laughter Is the Best Medicine Gala. Her close friend, Gabrielle Union, was honored at the event.
Mowry said Union has been “an angel for me the past four years.” She added that Union doesn’t judge, and has been divorced herself.
“She knew exactly what to say, what to do, what I needed, even before I knew what I needed…She’s just an incredible human being,” Mowry gushed of Union.
Although she was asked by People about her new beau, she once again declined to identify him. She explained, “I want to protect [our privacy].”
