Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez are officially married. The football superstar and media personality exchanged vows after a 10-year relationship. The pair are parents to six children, who had an important role in their wedding ceremony.

The Ronaldos revealed all the details in an exclusive feature for Vogue. Cristiano and Georgina intentionally held out on a grand ceremony in favor of an intimate day with their family. In the interview, the now-married pair spoke at length about their future plans.

Cristiano Ronaldo And Georgina Rodríguez Had A Small Wedding By Choice

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez married on 11 August 2026 in a civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal. The wedding took place exactly one year after their engagement on 11 August 2025. Even more significantly, it also marked the 10th anniversary of the two meeting at a Gucci store in Madrid, Spain.

Georgina called the day “exactly” as she’d imagined it in the Vogue interview. She told the outlet that the couple wanted a small wedding with just their family present. The pair married in their living room. However, Georgina had no regrets. Her childhood dream of marrying in the “biggest castle, the biggest carriage, the longest dress, a crown full of diamonds,” couldn’t compare to her actual wedding.

The pair do intend to have a much larger ceremony in the future. For the time being, their wedding was meant to be a time of love and reflection. After the ceremony, the family went to the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima for blessings. The newlyweds had no honeymoon plans. Instead, they left for their home in Riyadh, as Cristiano rejoined his football club for the new season.

Ronaldo had a simple reason to forego any formal getaway, saying, “Every day is a honeymoon.”

Cristiano Ronaldo And Georgina Rodríguez Have Their Future Mapped Out

Cristiano Ronaldo is looking to the future as a married man. After a football career lasting over two decades, the sporting legend is finally addressing retirement. Promising to leave a “spectacular legacy,” Ronaldo confirmed that this is “probably [his] last year of football.

The former Manchester United player took one final shot at the FIFA World Cup earlier this year. However, Portugal were eliminated by Spain, who went on to win the tournament.

Looking ahead, Ronaldo’s main passion is spending time with his family. Telling Vogue he has “mapped out” his future, he said he would fill the “big hole” left by football by traveling, playing padel, and being with his loved ones. Ronaldo insisted that he had “earned” it after “25 years of sacrifice.”

Cristiano and Georgina also discussed the topic of more children. While the pair are happy with their large family, neither is looking to expand in the short term. While Cristiano said “never say never,” Georgina joked that it would be “overbooking.” The model added that she might have more children when their “youngest are 15 or 16.” The spouses are excited by the prospect of having small children when the current ones are older.

Inside Cristiano Ronaldo And Georgina Rodríguez’s Family

Cristiano is father to 16-year-old Cristiano Jr. and 9-year-old twins Eva Maria and Mateo, the latter born via surrogate. He is father to 8-year-old Alana Martina with Georgina. The pair also welcomed twins Bella Esmerald and Angel in 2022; Angel passed away during childbirth.

All of the surviving children were present at the ceremony. The Vogue pictures feature matching pairs of shoes for Cristiano and the boys and distinct footwear for Georgina and the girls. They were also seated together for Mass after the wedding ceremony.

The entire family was dressed in white attire to celebrate the union. Georgina also snapped a picture with all the children in an embrace, greeting her for the first time as Cristiano’s wife.

As for the decision to be married at the living room table, Georgina said it was about preserving memories.

“In 30 years’ time I want the children to think, Something wonderful happened at this table—the wedding vows of our parents.”
