Derek Hough’s Symphony of Dance tour has drawn to a close.
The beloved “Dancing With the Stars” personality and his entourage performed across the country this summer, spreading joy at each stop.
Now that the DWTS season 35 premiere is on the horizon, Derek Hough is taking some time to reflect, rest, and regroup. Fans look forward to hearing the 41-year-old’s thoughts on this season’s competitors. However, “Dancing With the Stars” isn’t his only upcoming project.

Derek Hough Declares ‘That’s a Wrap’ on the Symphony of Dance Tour
Derek Hough’s Symphony of Dance tour entertained countless fans across the country. After an exciting summer of performances, the curtain has finally closed.
“That’s a wrap on an incredibly special tour!!!” the “Dancing With the Stars” judge shared on Instagram, attaching a highlight reel of the show. “To our crew, the unsung heroes who powered every moment, and to the dancers who lit up the stage, thank you. 🙏🏼 I love you all. The relationships and bonds we formed mean everything to me. I’ll always cherish them. This chapter closes with a full heart. ♥️♥️ Onward to what’s next.”
“Such an incredible and inspiring show! 🥹✨ Loved getting to watch some of my absolute favorite people do what they do best. So special! 🫶🏼” new DWTS troupe member Kamri Peterson cheered in the comments. Many other professional dancers and fans echoed similar sentiments.
The Symphony of Dance tour ensemble included several talented dancers, including “The Next Pro” contestant Selena Hamilton.
“The cast of dancers, they are literal superhuman beings that do things with their bodies that I didn’t even know were possible. It’s incredible. They’re so talented, they’re so hungry, they have so much energy. It’s really special,” Derek Hough previously told EntertainmentNow.
Though the Symphony of Dance tour featured an incredible cast of dancers, Derek Hough continuously praised his wife and favorite dance partner, Hayley Erbert Hough.
“Kinda chic to dance with your extraordinary wife every night,” he wrote over a photo of himself and Hayley, locked in an intimate embrace.
The DWTS Personality Prepares For His Holiday Tour
Derek Hough will return as the head judge for DWTS this year. However, he also has plans for another holiday tour.
“The Holiday Tour is here!” the 41-year-old posted on Instagram. “Get your tickets 🎫 at DEREKHOUGH.COM.”
The show kicks off on November 4 in Phoenix, Arizona, and runs through December 30 in San Jose, California. There will be plenty of opportunities to see Derek Hough and his talented group of dancers in action.
Fans can catch Derek Hough back at the judges’ table when “Dancing With the Stars” season 35 premieres. The fun begins at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, with a second episode the following night on Wednesday, September 16.
The full season 35 cast will be revealed on “Good Morning America” the morning of Wednesday, September 2.
