Hallmark’s “When Calls the Heart” stars Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum are expecting their first baby any day now. Ahead of their Rosenbaum and Krakow’s baby’s birth, which fans think is happening any day now, the two opened up about how excited they are to be parents.
Rosenbaum and Krakow shared some sweet tidbits during a panel held ahead of the premiere of the “When Calls the Heart” prequel, “Hope Valley: 1874.” On March 29, Entertainment Tonight shared the video where the Hallmark stars had fans swooning.
Erin Krakow Is Excited to Build a Family With Her Husband
Krakow was first asked what excites her the most about becoming a mom. She had a hard time choosing any one thing, admitting, “It’s so many things.”
She said, “It’s been so many things,” but added, “I think the main thing is just building a family with my husband.” With that, Krakow looked behind her to where Rosenbaum was sitting.
“It’s been an incredible journey,” Krakow shared, saying she had to “give it up to Hallmark and our production team.”
Krakow mentioned executive producer Brad Krevoy specifically, explaining, “he’s been saying, ‘Ya gotta have babies’ for years and years and years. ‘It’s the best thing you’ll ever do. We’ll work around it.’” She said the network and production has been amazing at accommodating her through her pregnancy.
Ben Rosenbaum Gushed Over His Wife
Then, Rosenbaum was asked “What kind of excitement is brewing inside of you?”
Rosenbaum admitted that it’s “incredibly exciting,” but also, at times he’s his nervousness is overwhelming.
He added, “I honestly, I just feel maybe that, you know, maybe I’ll live to regret saying this, but I feel pretty confident.” That prompted a lot of chuckles from the audience. A few knowing “When Calls the Heart” stars also comically exchanged knowing looks with one another.
The “When Calls the Heart” star acknowledged it, saying, “Yeah, all the parents in the room are… are laughing.”
Rosenbaum continued, “But it really is because of Erin, I just feel like, with her, we just can do anything together.”
That last part had everybody swooning, including Krakow.
Several fellow “When Calls the Heart” cast members on the stage expressed their love for Rosenbaum’s sweet comment. The audience could be heard reacting sweetly to it, as well.
Krakow and Rosenbaum have kept specifics regarding the baby’s due date and gender to themselves. However, fans suspect their baby is due to arrive very soon, and some previous Instagram Stories by Krakow about the baby have had “When Calls the Heart” fans wondering if the pair is expecting a boy.
