Beloved actress Jane Seymour opened up about falling in love again in her 70s, revealing the shocking way she met her partner, John Zambetti.
Jane Seymour Met Boyfriend John Zambetti Through Their Children
Seymour, 74, celebrated her “25th anniversary” with Zambetti on the day of her interview with HELLO!, which was published on October 28.
“25 months today,” the “Dear Prudence” actress told the outlet. “We decided that [because] we met in our 70s, it’s probably safer to go every month. So every month, on the fourth, he sends me roses, wherever I am, whatever’s going on. We’re just so grateful for every minute we have together.”
The pair met at a Shwayze concert two years ago after John expressed interest in the Hallmark actress.
“Our kids pretty much put us together. They’re the ones that heard that he’d seen me and asked whether I was single or not,” Seymour told HELLO!, explaining that the “Buzzin'” singer is a “mutual best friend.”
“Shwayze knew I would go and watch him because I’ve always supported him – I’m like his surrogate mother. And it turns out John’s always been his surrogate father.”

The jewelry designer was married and divorced four times before meeting the emergency room doctor.
“I honestly never thought I would find a really committed, healthy, lovely, loving relationship at this time of my life,” she told HELLO! “But I’m incredibly blessed that I have. 70 is the new 50.”
She continued, “You’ve had a life. Many lives. And children, and grandchildren, and careers, and ups and downs. You know what you want. I consider both of us so fortunate to have found each other at the time we have, because it wouldn’t have ever worked earlier. He had a different life – his world was medicine and touring, and mine was running around the world making movies. I think we met each other at exactly the right time.”
While she’s enjoying her time and celebrating all the small milestones with Zambetti, Seymour previously revealed that marriage is not on her mind.
“All I know is that right now, I am very happy,” she told People in May 2024. “I’m happier than I remember being for as long as I can remember. My family’s happy, everyone’s happy, and I don’t want to mess with happy. So, for right now, where I’m at is really good.”

Interesting, Craig purchased my first “Crepe Erase” for me and (one of my Christmas gifts) and I’ve been using it since. I do ‘a lot of praying’….in God’s time if something will happen.
