Kristoffer Polaha is giving fans a rare glimpse into the family life he treasures most.
The Hallmark leading man recently shared a photo on social media featuring himself with his sons, pairing the sweet, candid moment with a loving message dedicated to his wife, Julianne Morris. Alongside the photo, Polaha reflected on the life and family they’ve built together over the years.
Polaha Pens Heartfelt Birthday Message for His Wife
“This photo sums up the last 25 years of my life,” Polaha wrote in the caption of his May 8 Instagram post. “Minus the person who took this photo and I have her to thank for this life; the love of my life.”
The actor concluded the caption with a message for Morris alone. “HBD, baby. For eternity,” he wrote.
The touching tribute drew attention from fans, who filled the comments with birthday wishes and admiration for the couple’s bond:

Polaha Reveals He Met His Wife Through ‘Supernatural’ Star
GettyPolaha has been happily married to the fellow actor since 2003. The couple’s relationship began in part because of Jensen Ackles, who worked with Polaha on the pilot called “The Third Degree.” Ackles introduced the pair in 2001, and Polaha has said that he felt an immediate connection when they met.
“I walked into Casa Vega, this Mexican restaurant. I saw this woman,” Polaha told Highbrow Magazine in an interview from April 2021. “She was surrounded by this whole circle of dudes, and it was like time stood still for a second. Then, we all sat down at this table and it was a table that was kind of small, but she got squished in between two guys that she already knew. So, she orchestrated a move to another table, and she was at the end. I had a choice. I could sit next to some guy or I could sit next to her. I sat next to her and we talked. We talked the whole night.”
Polaha describes meeting Morris as “love at first sight.” He then “eagerly agreed” when Morris suggested that he extend his stay in Los Angeles instead of flying back to New York as he had originally planned, according to the outlet.
“The thought that ran through my head like a little typewriter was, ‘If you’re going to be bold in anything, be bold in love,'” Polaha said.
Polaha described the two years prior to their tying the knot as “a really beautiful, innocent two-year courtship” where the couple was able to take the time “to get to know each other.”
Polaha explained that, at the time, he thought to himself, “‘I don’t think that my career is going to amount to anything unless I have someone to share it with.'”
