Tyler Hynes Is Melting Fans’ Hearts With Emotional Tribute to His Beloved Hallmark Co-Stars: WATCH

Tyler Hynes is taking a moment to reflect on the veteran actors who helped shape his career.

The Hallmark actor honored several past and present collaborators by dedicating his upcoming film, “I’ll Be Seeing You” to them in a recent post on social media. While promoting the project, Hynes said in his post that he “was reminded” of why he “wanted to tell this story” in the first place.

He went on to share scenes from his earlier Hallmark films, including fan-favorites like “It Was Always You” and “An Unexpected Christmas,” where he highlighted the veteran stars he worked with, some of whom have since passed away. This echos an earlier sentiment Hynes shared in another post where he explained that his motivation for producing this project stemmed from his deep admiration for “the generation that came before” him.

“I’ll Be Seeing You” stars Hynes with Stacey Farber and Christine Ebersole. The film begins “when a work errand derails Amy’s weekend plans with her grandma,” which leads them to “embark on a road trip with one sentimental detour but need the help of a charming activities director,” according to the official synopsis on Hallmark Channel.

Hynes Dedicates New Movie to His Past & Present Co-Stars

“It’s been one of my life’s greatest pleasures,” Hynes wrote in the caption of his April 23 Instagram reel. “Thank you. 🤍 This one’s for you.”

The video begins with a picturesque shot of Central Park in New York City. Over the clip, there’s an on-screen text that begins with, “Walking through Central Park doing press for this movie, I was reminded…”

Hynes proceeds to string together clips from a handful of past Hallmark films he’s done, honoring his veteran co-stars.

The next clip is a scene with Hynes and the late Paula Shaw from the 2021 film “It Was Always You.” In this film, Hynes played the lead role of David, while Shaw played the supporting role of Grandma Vivian. The text included in the reel continues, “…why I wanted to tell this story…”

Next, Hynes includes a scene from the 2021 film “An Unexpected Christmas” with the late Elan Ross Gibson. In this holiday classic, Hynes starred as the lead character Jamie, while Gibson played the role of Grandma.

A clip from Hynes’ 2022 film “Always Amore” follows this, featuring a scene with Patty McCormack. In this film, Hynes played a restaurant consultant named Ben, while McCormack played the role of Nonna.

Hynes dedicates the next couple of clips to his co-stars from the film “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story,” where Hynes played team director Derrick. He includes a scene from the film with Ed Begley Jr., who played the grandfather, Paul Higman. Hynes also includes a clip from a panel with the cast, including Ebersole, who played the role of Norma Young in the 2024 film.

Hynes concludes the on-screen text in his reel with a heartfelt sentence. “‘I’ll Be Seeing You’ is for you.”

He ends the reel with a scene from “I’ll Be Seeing You,” featuring himself as Mark and BJ Harrison, who plays Sue, best friend of Ebersole’s Vivien.

Fans in the comments were touched by Hynes’ video. A few of the comments left on the post read:

Hynes Shares the Reason Why He Wanted to Produce ‘I’ll Be Seeing You’

Though Hynes his known for his on-screen presence for Hallmark, the actor explained why “I’ll Be Seeing You” is the first project he put into development at the network as a producer.

In a March 21 Instagram post, Hynes wrote in the caption, “There’s a voice I’ve grown to deeply cherish. A voice I’ve had the privilege of acting opposite. A voice I have the honour of meeting on these tours. And I wanted that voice to take center stage.”

He continued, “I deeply admire the generation that came before me. Not just for their wisdom but for their spirit. And there’s nothing more beautiful then when I hear of families using these movies as multigenerational shared experiences.”

“So here it is,” Hynes concluded. “A title and a song I’ve shared with you for years. A movie inspired by you. Made with you mind. With exactly the people I wished to make it with.”
