In the caption of the post, he wrote, “What a truly wonderful weekend in LA presenting @emergency.thefilm at the @thebhfilmfest alongside my family and some of our team.”

He continued, “In particular, if you’re familiar with the content of the film, seeing the photos of me, my son, my wife, and my mom alongside that poster really hits me.”

The photos featured the star alongside his wife, Ali Kroeker, as well as his baby son and mother, not to mention cast and crew who worked on the film.

The post sparked plenty of comments with one person writing, “Ahh Wowww Congratulations Marcus! 🥲🫶”

Another person added, “What a special moment for you all!”

A third follower wrote, “This is wonderful for you and your family!!!”

“How wonderful to see you and your family. Little baby lion was there too. Your wife and mom are looking good. Congratulations Marcus,” came from another fan who mentioned the animal emoji that covered the face of Marcus’ baby boy.

Someone else left a comment, saying, “Really lovely to see all the families on the red carpet together! … Congrats on all the well deserved success on this film!!”

Marcus Has Opened Up About What ‘Emergency’ Means to Him

“Emergency,” which stars young actors Huxley Fisher and Anaram Haddadzadeh, is an incredibly special film for Rosner, and not only because he wrote and directed it. The short film happens to be deeply personal for the star.

In an Instagram post shared on October 7, 2025, Rosner opened about what what the project meant to him. Noting that he’s been fortunate to have a career that has let him make a living from being an actor and given him the opportunity to make various kinds of shows and movies, he admitted that he’s recently been feeling a pull toward telling his own kind of stories. That includes parts of his childhood.

Noting in the post that he was born to a mother who was just 15 at the time and raised with brothers from different racial backgrounds, he said they faced various challenges. Now, he’s ready to use his upbringing to inspire his new work.

When it comes to “Emergency,” the description notes that “[o]n a quiet night in an emergency room, two children form an unexpected bond amidst the guarded silence of hidden suffering.”
