Longtime Hallmark star Marcus Rosner just landed his biggest role yet: DAD! On February 1, 2026, the Canadian actor and producer announced the surprise news via social media with his wife, Ali Kroeker, thrilling fans and colleagues.
Sharing a precious black and white photo of their baby boy grasping onto each of their thumbs, Rosner wrote, “Our Boy. M.R.R. January, 2026”
Marcus Rosner Pens Sweet Message to His Baby Boy, Vowing to Be Present for Him
Rosner, who joined the cast of “Sullivan’s Crossing” in 2025, has been married to Kroeker, an independent filmmaker, for four years.
“The Love Club” star, 36, shared their baby announcement in his Instagram Stories and sweetly wrote, “Welcome, my boy. All I know right now is you will never wonder where I am. The rest we’ll figure out as we go.”
The photo Rosner and Kroeker shared reveals a tattoo on his hand that says “Be Here Now.” Several months before his son’s birth, in October, he shared in a social media video that he’d been reflecting on wanting to be more intentional about telling stories that matter to him, like the fact he was “born to a 15-year-old mother” and didn’t grow up with “soft problems” like many of his characters have had.
Noting that he’s been “very fortunate” to appear in many TV shows and movies, Rosner said, “Recently, something’s just been growing in me where I have this feeling that I haven’t really used this craft to tell my stories — the ones that shaped me, the ones that might make me feel understood. And for years, I was caught in this cycle of just making the next thing, projects that come and go, and experiences flying by at the speed of light.”
Rosner continued, “It was thrilling, and I was addicted to that cycle, and I was grateful for it, but lately I’ve been slowing down and taking the time to make things that might actually last, even if they only matter to me.”
