Erin Napier Shares Cryptic Post of ‘A Few Bright Spots’ in Her Bad Week
On September 4, Napier took to Instagram to share a look at some highlights from the past week, which included turning 40 on August 30, 2025.
“A few bright spots at the beginning of my 40th year, in an otherwise rotten week, without context,” she wrote in the caption. “Enjoy.”
The video included peeks at her kids, their homeschooling setup, a banner for her 40th birthday, a book titled, “The Well-Trained Mind: A Guide to Classical Education at Home,” and their family time watching TV together.
The part that had her fans asking questions, however, were photos of her and Ben wearing scrubs at a hospital. Since she didn’t provide context or explanation, fans could only guess.

Fans flooded the comments section, with many confused about the hospital photos. “Surgical scrubs with hospital IDs???” one fan asked.
“We wanna know!” another responded.
“Sending prayers that your week improves! Although seeing both you and Ben in scrubs is disconcerting!” another wrote.
Given that the HGTV star was highlighting the “bright spots” of her week, the photos didn’t indicate a hospital emergency.
When one fan asked, “Explain yourself, girl. Y’all changed professions?” Napier replied, “Ha! nope. Stay tuned.”
Others weighed in on her homeschool plans. “‘The Well Trained Mind’ is such a helpful book no matter what type of schooling choice a parent makes,” one fan wrote.
Another one of her followers shared, “I did classical education with my children when I homeschooled them. Wishing you the best!”

Napier’s “rotten week” likely includes the August 26 fire that broke out at the Heirloom Hotel. The cause of the fire has since been revealed as well as their plans for the hotel.
