Jenny Marrs Posts Sweet Puppy Video, Remembering Late Dog Dolly
Marrs first introduced their new puppy in a January 12 Instagram post.
“Dave and Charlotte pulled off an epic early-birthday surprise yesterday!!!! I have been not-so-subtly hinting that I would really love a puppy for a couple of months and I never, ever thought Dave would go for it,” she wrote in the caption.
Marrs continued, “Little did I know, he had this planned all along. She’ll never replace the hole that our Dolly-Sue left, but she will certainly bring us all joy. This is the year for JOY! 🙌”
“Meet the newest addition to the Marrs’ farm, Sally-Sue! 💕💕💕” she added.
On February 7, Marrs also posted a sweet video of their new puppy bonding with their dog Banana, who had a close relationship with the family’s late dog Dolly.
“Dolly will never, ever be replaced or forgotten. She was the very best girl and best friend to all of us, including her bestest pal: Banana,” Marrs wrote in the caption.
She continued, “Banana grieved so deeply when we lost our Dolly last summer and one of the reasons I thought we were ready for a new pup was I thought Banana needed her too.”
“Sally Sue is all puppy joy with piranha teeth and oversized paws and floppy ears,” the HGTV star added. “Watching her overwhelming love heal Banana’s broken heart has been the best gift for my own.”
