Dave and Jenny Marrs welcomed a new addition to their family after Dave pulled off the ultimate birthday surprise for his wife. Check out the HGTV stars’ adorable four-legged family member, named Sally-Sue!
Dave Marrs Surprises Jenny With a Puppy
On January 12, Jenny took to Instagram to introduce their new puppy with a video that showed the whole birthday surprise.
“Dave and Charlotte pulled off an epic early-birthday surprise yesterday!!!! I have been not-so-subtly hinting that I would really love a puppy for a couple of months and I never, ever thought Dave would go for it,” Jenny wrote in the caption.
She continued, “Little did I know, he had this planned all along. She’ll never replace the hole that our Dolly-Sue left, but she will certainly bring us all joy. This is the year for JOY! 🙌”
“Meet the newest addition to the Marrs’ farm, Sally-Sue! 💕💕💕” she added.
In the video, Dave asks his daughter where they’re heading in the car and she responds, “We’re going to pick up a puppy. She’s so cute!”
“Hold on, it’s gonna be good,” Dave says of his surprise present for Jenny. “She was the runt of the litter, so she needs a special home, which is Jenny and Charlotte and the Marrs family.”
Charlotte shares the first look at their cute wiggly puppy as they drive back.
“We are headed home to give Jenny Marrs her birthday present,” Dave explains.
When they arrive home, Dave captures the moment they surprise Jenny with her adorable gift. “No!!” Jenny yells, completely surprised by the puppy. “Are you serious?!”
The HGTV star tears up as she hugs the puppy. “I was just writing in my journal today about Dolly-Sue,” she notes.
