Dove Cameron is officially engaged to Italian rockstar Damiano David, lead singer of Måneskin, according to TMZ. The happy couple walked arm-in-arm with Cameron’s new ring on full display while visiting Sydney, Australia. Cameron recently posted on Instagram for the couple’s two-year anniversary on October 9, 2025, calling the relationship “the 2 best years of [her] life.”

GettyAccording to Cosmopolitan, rumors about Cameron and David’s relationship started when the former-Disney Channel star attended a Måneskin in October 2023. From then on, the “Boyfriend” singer and Måneskin frontman were often spotted together at various outings and dates.
Finally, in February 2024, Cameron and David made their relationship red-carpet official when they attended the Clive Davis pre-Grammy gala, even kissing for the camera.
In Jun 2024, Cameron posed for the cover of Cosmopolitan and answered all the questions people had been asking, including how they met. As Cameron tells it, she and David first crossed paths at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, where they were both nominated for Best New Artist. Cameron took home the award that night, noting that the future lovebirds didn’t actually talk to each other at the award show.
It took until the 2023 VMAs for Cameron and David to really connect. David invited Cameron to his concert at Madison Square Garden, and the rest is history.

Her career started with a role on Showtime’s hit drama, “Shameless,” and quickly thereafter nabbed the lead in Disney Channel’s “Liv & Maddie,” where she played both title characters.
Cameron has proved she’s a woman of many talents. Not only does she shine on TV and film screens, she’s a fantastic live performer as well. Cameron played Amber Von Tussle in NBC’s live airing of the Tony-winning show “Hairspray,” she also originated the role of Cher Horowitz in the off-Broadway production of “Clueless: The Musical.”
In 2022, Cameron starred in “Good Mourning,” a film written and directed by fellow musicians MGK and Mod Sun. According to Variety, Cameron will continue her acting career in Amazon’s upcoming thriller series, “Obsession.”
