Jessica Simpson is marking a major milestone in her business empire.

The 45-year-old singer and entrepreneur recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of her fashion line, Jessica Simpson Collection.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Simpson reflected on her brand’s journey, including the doubts she faced in its early years.

“Some people didn’t think it would stand the test of time,” the singer told the outlet. “but I feel like everybody’s always thought that of me. One hit wonder…”

Jessica Simpson Proves Haters Wrong With Brand’s Success

Despite the skepticism, Simpson has proven that her fashion brand has what it takes to succeed. It has sold over 100 million pairs of shoes and opened over 20,000 retail locations.

The Jessica Simpson Collection has expanded into more than 50 categories, alongside her signature cowboy boots, platforms, boho-style dresses, and the iconic Daisy Dukes.

“I feel like I’ve gone through so much,” the singer added. “The brand has gone through the exact same things with me. Whether it’s babies or weight loss, we just wove it into the brand.”

To commemorate the brand’s 20th anniversary, Simpson launched an exclusive limited-edition capsule collection, which includes items like a leopard-print slip dress, platform sandals, boots, and furry bags.

“It’s a lot of celebratory pieces — just more me — like what I’d wear to the recording studio,” Simpson told the outlet.
