American rapper Matthew Raymond Hauri, aka Yung Gravy, turns 30 years old today. He was born in Rochester, Minnesota, in March 19, 1996.

Yung Gravy’s Childhood

Per Med City Beat, the rapper attended Mayo High School, from which he graduated in 2014.
Late Teens and Early 20s
Above is a social media post with a picture of Yung Gravy sitting next to the late rapper 6 Dogs in the mid-2010s.
Per The Badger Herald, the star attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he earned a degree in marketing in December 2017.
It was during this period that he began performing and releasing music, with self-released EPs like 2016’s “Mr. Clean,” as well as “Yung Gravity” and “Baby Gravy” (with bbno$) in 2017.
Yung Gravy’s Brush With the Law

In 2018, when he was 22, Yung Gravy found himself in trouble with the law in Atlanta, Georgia.
In the late 2010s, he also released more music on the Republic label. This included the 2018 EP “Snow Cougar” and the 2019 album “Sensational.”
The 2020s

On the Republic label, his album releases have included 2020’s “Baby Gravy 2” and “Gasanova,” 2022’s “Marvelous,” 2023’s “Baby Gravy 3,” and 2024’s “Serving Country.”
His EPs on the Republic label were “Gravy Train Down Memory Lane: Side A” and “Gravy Train Down Memory Lane: Side B.”
His only self-released EP was 2021’s “Tracy’s Ultimate Fitness Mix.”
On the Imperial label, his only release was the 2024 EP “Cake and Cognac” (with Dillon Francis).
Yung Gravy Today
GettyAs of 2026, Yung Gravy is still working on music. Per his official website, he has no tours planned — though the site does urge visitors to “check back soon” on the tour page.
His site does say he has one upcoming performance planned, at the Joan Perry Brock Center in Farmville, Virginia, on Saturday, April 11.
He was recently seen attending the game between the Houston Rockets and New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in New York City on February 21 (see above).
