Netflix is turning its biggest hits into real-world adventures. The streaming giant opened its first permanent Netflix House on Nov. 12 at the King of Prussia Mall near Philadelphia. The 100,000-square-foot venue offers fans a chance to explore immersive sets, themed dining, and interactive games inspired by popular series, including “Wednesday” and “One Piece.” The launch marks Netflix’s most ambitious move yet into live entertainment and fan experiences.
A New Way to Experience Netflix
Netflix House features themed games, a dining area, and exclusive merchandise. Visitors can enter public areas for free and buy tickets for larger experiences.
In a statement on its Tudum site, Netflix said the venue allows guests to “step into their favorite stories.” The company said it wants to create deeper ways for fans to connect with its shows.
One of the main attractions, “Wednesday: Eve of the Outcasts”, takes guests through a dark carnival inspired by the Netflix series “Wednesday.” The 60-minute interactive adventure includes puzzles, performers, and photo opportunities, according to Netflix.
Another highlight, “One Piece: Quest for the Devil Fruit”, is a team-based experience inspired by the live-action series. Visitors search for the Devil Fruit while exploring sets modeled after the East Blue and Marine Base.
Guests can also play a nine-hole Netflix-themed mini golf course, try virtual reality games based on “Squid Game” and “Stranger Things,” eat at Netflix Bites, and shop for exclusive merchandise.
Why Netflix Chose Philadelphia
Netflix said it selected King of Prussia for its space, accessibility, and strong community presence. Company leaders described Philadelphia as “a city full of creativity, heart, and community.”
The King of Prussia Mall provided the large footprint Netflix needed to build expansive sets and installations. The design includes a red-envelope entrance that nods to the company’s early DVD rental days. Inside, guests can explore colorful halls filled with show-inspired décor and installations.
Beyond the Screen
According to Netflix, entry to public areas is free. Ticketed experiences start at about $39. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday until midnight, and Sunday until 8 p.m. The venue is located at 180 N. Gulph Road in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
Netflix said the project reflects its growing investment in in-person entertainment. The company is expanding beyond streaming by creating experiences that attract fans offline. Industry analysts say this also benefits malls, which are transforming large retail spaces into entertainment venues.
Netflix House offers fans something different, a chance to step out of their living rooms and into the worlds they stream.
