Jaglom had a hugely impactful career in the entertainment industry. He made his directorial debut in 1972 with the film “A Safe Place,” and other film credits include “Eating,” “Venice/Venice,” and “Last Summer in the Hamptons.” He also wrote screenplays, including “Babyfever,” which he co-wrote with Foyt, his second wife, whom he married in 1991, Deadline reports.

Jaglom was born in London on January 26, 1938, but was raised in New York City. His daughter Sabrina, who is also a filmmaker, reflected on her father’s life and legacy in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “My dad was the most loving, fun, entertaining, and unique father and the biggest cheerleader and champion anyone could be lucky enough to have,” she said.
