Glen Powell attended the 2026 Golden Globes, where he was nominated for his role in the comedy series “Chad Powers.” Though he didn’t win, he did open up about why he was experiencing pain at the event and how it related to his show.
While on the red carpet at the 2026 Golden Globes, a reporter from Variety asked Powell about the show’s second season. He teased a bit of what’s to come and noted that the end of the first season had a darker tone than the rest of the episodes.
Regarding the football featured on the show, he said, “I took some hits yesterday. If I’m walking a little weird, it’s because I’m in a little bit of pain.
No, the football’s great. We’re leveling up on the football, we’re leveling up on every part of the fish[mascot for the fictional team]. I’m just really excited about everything this season has in store.”
