September is moving right along, and the TV premiere schedule is starting to get a little busier. This week brings new series to Netflix, Food Network, FX, Apple TV+, Prime Video, and TNT, with several different genres represented throughout the week.
Yep, there are quite a few new shows to keep track of between September 7 thru the 13. Honestly, some days are much busier than others, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It seems like there’s a little something for everyone this week, whether reality TV, food competitions, drama, or true crime is more your thing. September is usually when the TV schedule starts getting much more interesting, and this week’s lineup is a good sign of what’s ahead.

- “DANG!” premieres on Netflix at 2:00am ET.
The new animated series follows a brother and sister whose messy, fun-filled lives in New York City get turned upside down when their high-achieving older sister suddenly shows up and wants to spend time with them. And, that sounds like a recipe for plenty of family drama.
- “Bobby Flay’s The Line” premieres on Food Network at 8:00pm ET.
Bobby Flay puts restaurant kitchens to the ultimate test as his hand-picked team of chefs takes on acclaimed restaurant staff in real-time dinner services. The teams have to impress actual diners and VIP guests, who rate their dishes, with the winning visiting team taking home $25,000. This isn’t your typical cooking competition where everyone gets to slow down and perfect a dish.
- “The Drop: A Snowfall Saga” premieres on FX at 8:00pm ET.
Set in 1990s Los Angeles, the new series follows “Snowfall” characters Wanda and Leon as they work to bring West Coast rap into the mainstream. But with gang wars breaking out and record labels looking to profit from hip-hop culture, their plans aren’t exactly going to be easy.
Food TV fans have a pretty good reason to tune in with Bobby Flay’s latest series. At the same time, FX and Netflix are giving viewers two more new options to check out.

- “Last Seen” premieres on Apple TV+ at 2:00am ET.
The series, also known as “The Dispatcher,” follows police detective Ian Hunt, whose young daughter Maggie disappeared without a trace 10 years earlier. Now working as a police dispatcher, Ian has never stopped believing that Maggie could still be alive. When he receives a distress call from a young girl he believes could be his missing daughter, he sets out to find her, no matter what it costs him.
Having just one new show on the schedule can actually be nice. It means viewers don’t have to choose between several premieres airing at the same time.

- “Crew Girl” premieres on Netflix at 2:00am ET.
The coming-of-age teen drama follows 16-year-old Teagan, a female rower who unexpectedly becomes the coxswain for a dysfunctional all-boys rowing team at an elite East Coast prep school. Putting one teenager in charge of a team that doesn’t exactly have its act together sounds like it could get interesting pretty quickly.
- “The Perfect Lie” premieres on Netflix at 2:00am ET.
Karen and her family are welcomed into an exclusive dinner club after moving to Bergen, where they become part of a wealthy group living an extravagant and hedonistic lifestyle. Everything changes when a villa catches fire and their friend Evert is killed. As Karen starts digging into what happened, she realizes the friendships holding the group together are filled with secrets and lies. Let’s be real, the title alone makes it pretty clear that Karen is about to discover that these people aren’t exactly who they appear to be.
This is another day where streaming viewers have a couple of new options to add to their watchlists. It seems like Netflix is helping keep the middle of the week interesting with two new titles dropping together.

- “Physical 100: Italy” premieres on Netflix at 2:00am ET.
The Italian adaptation of the hit Korean reality TV competition brings together contestants, including professional athletes, who face a series of physically demanding challenges. The quests test everything from strength and endurance to agility, balance, and sheer determination. Maybe fans of the original “Physical 100” have another intense competition to add to their watchlists.
Competition fans have plenty of reasons to check out the Friday lineup, especially with another international edition of the popular “Physical 100” franchise.

His experiences offer a different look at what was happening behind the scenes and raise questions about how the situation was viewed in Washington.
Honestly, this gives viewers something different to check out heading into a new week, especially those who enjoy historical and true crime programming.

Yep, this week’s schedule may not have a new series premiering every single day, but there are still plenty of options to keep an eye on. From Bobby Flay’s latest Food Network project to a competition series and TNT’s real-world inspired mini-series the lineup covers quite a few different interests.
It seems like September is starting to bring more variety to the TV schedule as we get closer to the traditional fall season. And, let’s be real, after a summer filled with new streaming releases, it’s nice to see entertainment starting to pick up again.
