While Liam Neeson is in the spotlight for his budding romance with Pamela Anderson, his son is celebrating a milestone of his own. Daniel Neeson, 29, asked longtime love Natalie Ackerman, 28, to marry him during a romantic boat ride on the Hudson River, as reported by Daily Mail.
The couple’s joy shone through in photos Daniel shared on Instagram, where he called the moment “Life is beautiful.” As per Daily Mail, friends filled the comments with emotion, writing, “screaming crying” and “favourite people are getting married!!”
Engagement Party With Personal Touch
The newly engaged pair kept the celebration fun and personal with a party at an Irish pub in Manhattan. Friends toasted the couple with custom cocktails crafted from Daniel’s own De Nada Tequila, playfully named Tulane Bombshell and Knit Nat Negroni.
At one point, Daniel scooped Natalie into his arms for a kiss as their friends cheered.
The couple later cut into a flower-topped cake, with Natalie beaming as she showed off her sparkling ring.
Family Ties & Past Heartbreak
Daniel is the younger son of Neeson and the late actress Natasha Richardson, who died in 2009 after a tragic skiing accident. He was 12 years old at the time. Last year, Daniel shared an emotional tribute to his mother, writing, “I look forward to reuniting one day, but for now I take solace in knowing you’re beside me every step of the way.”
Richardson, remembered for her role in “The Parent Trap,” was the daughter of Vanessa Redgrave and Tony Richardson. Her sudden death deeply impacted the family, though Daniel says his tequila venture has become a way to honor her memory, calling her the “OG margarita mama.”
Liam Neeson’s New Chapter With Pamela Anderson
While Daniel begins his new chapter with Natalie, his father is in the spotlight for a budding relationship with Pamela Anderson. The pair grew close while filming the “Naked Gun” reboot and sparked romance buzz during press stops in New York and London.
Getty“Pam is very drawn to Liam because he is totally open to her way of thinking and living,” a source told Daily Mail. Neeson added, “I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with. I can’t compliment her enough.”
Anderson also set the record straight about her connection with Liam Neeson.

“I do not and will never feed into PR stunts,” Anderson said while accepting the Deauville Talent Award at the Deauville American Film Festival in France on September 5, according to People. “That would be a death sentence. I’m authentically driven. I’m superstitious when it comes to love. And I’m not comfortable sharing any shred of my romantic life.”
Anderson, who accepted the Deauville 2025 Talent Award last week, pushed back on speculation about their romance being staged.
“I do not and will never feed into PR stunts. That would be a death sentence. I’m authentically driven,” she said.
