At tonight’s 2015 Oscars, Patricia Arquette won Best Supporting Actress for her role in the movie Boyhood. After she thanked her family and boyfriend, her speech took a turn into a feminist plea for wage equality. Upon hearing Arquette’s words, Meryl Streep practically jumped out of her chair in support and Jennifer Lopez exclaimed in excitement as well. She had the whole room in an uproar.
