On February 3, Carradine posted his last post on Instagram, promoting his work on the “Party Nerds Pop-Cast” podcast. He posted a photo of himself and guest Don Wilson. In the caption, he shared his thoughts, writing, “Don Wilson shared a lot of cool stories on this week’s episode!”
At the time, fans had supported the podcast and Carradine’s work, calling it a “great” episode, but now the photo makes them emotional because it was the last one Carradine posted. Fans have reacted to the post with tributes. “Gosh I’m so sad Rest in love, I hope you’re no longer hurting You were my favorite TV dad,” a comment reads. “Gosh – I HATE TO HEAR THIS NEWS. Amazing actor!,” another person shared.

Carradine’s last public appearance was in November 2025 for the red carpet of “3 Killer Pigs,” Page Six reports.
The news of Carradine’s death was shared in a statement by his family. “It is with profound sadness that we must share that our beloved father, grandfather, uncle, and brother Robert Carradine has passed away,” the statement reads, Deadline reports.
It continues, “In a world that can feel so dark, Bobby was always a beacon on light to everyone around him. We are bereft at the loss of this beautiful soul and want to acknowledge Bobby’s valiant struggle against his nearly two-decade battle with Bipolar Disorder. We hope his journey can shine a light and encourage addressing the stigma that attaches to mental illness. At this time we ask for the privacy to grieve this unfathomable loss. With gratitude for your understanding and compassion.”
