Stanley Tucci’s Wife and Kids: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Stanley Tucci may be beloved for his acclaimed acting career, viral cocktail-making videos and undeniable charm, but behind the scenes, the Oscar-nominated star has long credited his wife, Felicity Blunt, for changing his life.

The pair have been married for more than a decade and share a relationship that grew out of friendship, family connections and second chances.

From her famous sister to their unique love story, here are five facts to know about the woman who stole Tucci’s heart.

1. She’s the older sister of Emily Blunt

Felicity comes from a family fans may already recognize.

She is the older sister of actress Emily Blunt, known for films including “The Devil Wears Prada,” “Into the Woods,” “A Quiet Place” and “Oppenheimer.”

Emily is married to actor John Krasinski, meaning the “Jack Ryan” star is Felicity’s brother-in-law.

The sisters share an especially close bond. In a 2023 interview with The Guardian, Felicity reflected on growing up together, explaining they experienced many of life’s biggest milestones side by side, including “new school, puberty, first boyfriends, no boyfriends, first jobs, no money, first hangovers.”

At Emily’s 40th birthday celebration, Felicity even gave an emotional speech, saying, “I wouldn’t know how to be me without you.”

She also praised her younger sister, saying, “She works really hard. Her children and her husband are at the centre of everything. She’s a good friend. She’s a brilliant actress. She’s loving. She doesn’t have anything to prove…I think she’s the best person I know.”

2. She and Tucci first met in 2006 — but reunited years later

Tucci and Felicity first crossed paths back in 2006 at the premiere of The Devil Wears Prada.

At the time, however, Tucci was still married to his first wife, Kate, who died in 2009 after battling breast cancer.

Years later, sparks flew when the two reconnected at Emily Blunt and John Krasinski’s wedding.

“We had a lot in common, even though we had nothing in common,” Tucci recalled while speaking with Jenna Bush Hager during a May 7 episode of her “Open Book” podcast. “It just sort of stuck. But I think she changed my life in the sense that she gave me a sense of security. She gave my children a sense of security. And she’s fun. Like, she’s fun to hang out with.”

3. The couple married in 2012

After reconnecting, things moved quickly.

Just two years after Emily and Krasinski’s wedding, Felicity and Tucci tied the knot in a private ceremony in summer 2012.

They later celebrated with a larger event in London, where Emily served as a bridesmaid and actor Steve Buscemi stood by Tucci’s side as best man.

4. Their 21-year age gap initially worried Tucci

Tucci has openly admitted he once hesitated over the couple’s age difference.

“It just sort of made sense, even though there is this age gap of 21 years,” Tucci added. “I knew her family, or I knew her sister was one of my best friends. And we just hit it off.”

5. She embraced a blended family

Together, Felicity and Tucci share two children — son Matteo Oliver, born in 2015, and daughter Emilia Giovanna, born in 2018.

She also became stepmother to Tucci’s three children from his first marriage.

In a 2017 interview, Tucci acknowledged the challenges of blending families after loss.

“It is not easy to find somebody who is going to take on three teenagers and a widower. That’s a lot,” he said. “But she [Felicity] was willing to take on that challenge. She cares for the kids as if they are her own.”
