Melissa Gorga Chops Off Her Hair for Refreshed Look: PHOTO

Melissa Gorga is one of the most talked-about cast members from “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” Of course, she’s known for being a brunette, but the beloved businesswoman has been known to experiment with her hair. This was especially the case when she cut her hair years ago to go for a softer look.

Gorga posted one of her most daring hair transformations on Instagram in February 2016. She said in the caption, “Rainy day in Jersey. Played with my own makeup today.. Wanted soft and natural.. How’d I do? Also.. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who is so supportive. I do read the comments, and I love you guys.”

She continued, “Off to work I go! #imheretoentertainyou.”

Fans in the comments were loving Gorga’s new look. One person said, “You always look good, girl 🔥” Someone else wrote, “Absolutely stunning, you look just amazing.” Another “Real Housewives of New Jersey” fan stated, “NEW ZEALAND HERE Gorgeous best idea love it!! Can’t wait to see you ALL.”

Gorga Will Be on ‘Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition’

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is on an extended hiatus, but Gorga remains quite busy. One of her upcoming appearances will be on the first season of “Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition.” The show premieres on October 14 on Bravo.

In addition to Gorga, it features Angie Katsanevas, Dr. Wendy Osefo, and Emily Simpson. Similar to the original “Wife Swap” series, it will feature the four “Real Housewives” stars switching places with other family women to provide different experiences to their families.

Bravo announced the new show in early May alongside a slew of other new and returning series. Some of the others include “Real Housewives of Rhode Island,” “The Valley: Persian Style,” and “Real Housewives of London.”

‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ May Be in the Works

Season 14 of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” premiered in May 2024. However, since it concluded, there has been no concrete news regarding its return to Bravo. However, more recently, not only have there been rumors of test filming, but Andy Cohen has said they’re close to having the cast figured out.

Recently, Gorga provided an update. She told Page Six in September 2025, “The truth is, they’re figuring it out. I know you don’t want to hear this — none of us want to hear this. I wish I had better answers for you, but they’re figuring it out.”

Gorga went on to say she’s “waiting for them to make a decision, as well, just like all of you.”
