Melissa Gorga Gives Update on RHONJ Status & Reconnecting With Teresa Giudice

Melissa Gorga shared an update on the status of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey”—and why it’s been nice to have her life off-camera for the past two years.

In an October 2025 interview with Access Hollywood, the veteran RHONJ star stopped short of confirming if she will return for the 15th season of the Bravo reality show. Shen then hinted that the cast is still waiting to hear their status amid rumors of a cast shakeup.

“I love being on the Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Gorga told the outlet. “It is an amazing place to be. I do love Bravo, and I’m you know, but we’ll see what happens. We’re waiting to see.”

Gorga confirmed that she will attend BravoCon, the Bravo fan fest that will be held in Las Vegas from Nov. 14-16.

Melissa Gorga Has Plenty to Keep Her Busy Without RHONJ

Gorga has said that she is ready to start filming as soon as Bravo gives the green light.  “We can’t confirm or deny, so we don’t know,” she told Us Weekly in September. “The last thing Andy Cohen said was that we’re close, which is awesome. We’re all crossing our fingers, whatever Bravo decides.”

But if Bravo doesn’t decide to ask her back, Gorga said her life will still be plenty busy with her Envy boutique, Sprinkle cookie business, and other ventures.

“I haven’t filmed that show in two years and I haven’t stopped in two years,” she told Access. “And everything, including the Sprinkle Company business, did that without, you know, having it on the TV show or anything. And it’s been insane. It’s been insane how that business took off. So, I keep busy.”

“I haven’t stopped. Let’s just put it that way. I haven’t stopped in two years,” she added.

Melissa Gorga Didn’t Confirm if She & Her Husband Joe Have Talked to Teresa Giudice

The long RHONJ hiatus was due, in part, to the cast divide amid Gorga’s estrangement from her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice.

While there once seemed to be no chance of a reconciliation between the feuding family members, Giudice began putting out feelers during a September 2025 appearance on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live. When asked if she could possibly co-exist with the Gorgas, Giudice told host Jeff Lewis, “I mean, never say never. I guess we would, you know, have to see. …We’ll see what happens. … you just have to kind of let it go and move on.”

At first, Gorga was taken aback by Giudice’s change of tune. But she recently told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea that she hopes the family will have an “authentic and real” conversation without Bravo’s cameras documenting it.

“We haven’t ever had a chance to have anything private … so I’m going to keep this part private for right now,” Gorga said. ‘We’ll see how it goes.”

When asked if her husband Joe had sat down with Giudice, Gorga played coy.

“Listen, I just feel like when it comes to that, it’s a little complicated,” she said in the Access Hollywood interview. “Obviously, I never wanted it this way. It’s always been team family for me. I come from a family that is very close-knit. My children are extremely close with their aunts, my sisters, and I’ve always been tight with my sisters. So, it’s always been a weird concept for me that they’re not together.”

“But I will always root for them to work this out,” teh RHONJ alum said. “Always.I would never feel like it should be any other way. We’ll see what happens.”
