Big Brother 28 Live Feeds: Yash Scrambles to Save Kamu as FAP Controls the Vote

Yash is fighting to keep one of his closest allies in the “Big Brother 28” house as the power over this week’s eviction shifts toward a different group of players.

Taran Armstrong and guest AJ recapped Day 43 during the Aug. 19 Rob Has a Podcast live feed update, focusing on the intense campaigning surrounding Kamu’s place in the game. Yash remains Head of Household, but Rick Devens’ Diamond Power of Veto significantly changed the week after he used it to save Dee Valladares.

Kamu became the replacement nominee, leaving Angela Murray, Haley and Kamu facing eviction. With the Mosh Pit alliance newly established and FAP holding crucial votes, Yash quickly went to work trying to keep Kamu in the house.

Yash Campaigns Hard to Save Kamu

Yash spent nearly two hours making his case to Mallory in hopes of convincing her that keeping Kamu would benefit her game.

Mallory wasn’t easily persuaded.

According to Armstrong and AJ, she continued to view Kamu as a significant competition threat and saw an opportunity to remove a strong player while she had the chance. That position puts Yash in a difficult spot after building a close strategic relationship with Kamu.

FAP’s influence over the vote has also given Mallory and Melody room to evaluate which direction best serves their games rather than simply following the newly formed Mosh Pit.

Melody appeared more open to considering a flip to keep Kamu. However, pulling it off would require additional votes, potentially including Haley and LaTrice.

Haley’s approach to campaigning also became a topic of discussion. While Yash aggressively worked on Kamu’s behalf, Armstrong and AJ noted that Haley wasn’t displaying the same urgency despite facing eviction herself.

Mallory and Melody Question the Mosh Pit

The vote is also exposing uncertainty within the Mosh Pit shortly after its formation.

Melody and Mallory questioned exactly where they fit within the group, creating an opening for them to reconsider their options. Rather than committing firmly to one side, Mallory appears interested in maintaining a central position in the house.

That approach could give her flexibility with Drew, Barrett and the Icons as the game’s structure continues changing.

Elsewhere, LaTrice’s direct approach created tension after she questioned Angela about her game. Taylor later spoke with LaTrice about how her communication could be perceived by other houseguests.

According to Armstrong and AJ, their conversation also addressed the additional considerations Black women can face when navigating conflict and direct gameplay inside the “Big Brother” house.

Not everything on the feeds revolved around eviction strategy.

The houseguests also became invested in a considerably less consequential mystery after someone apparently took a bite out of Devens’ hot dog. The investigation provided some comic relief during a day otherwise dominated by campaigning and vote counting.

Still, the eviction remains the real mystery.

Yash may hold the HOH title, but his ability to dictate the outcome has diminished following Devens’ Diamond Veto move. Mallory and Melody now have an opportunity to influence which side gains momentum heading into the next HOH competition.

If Yash can’t find enough support to save Kamu, one of the season’s strongest competitors could be headed out the door. If Melody helps create a successful flip, however, the Mosh Pit could face its first major test almost immediately after coming together.
