AnnaLynne McCord and Danny Cipriani are married! The couple celebrated their wedding in a backyard ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 22, the Daily Mail reports. The news comes days after McCord, known for her roles as Naomi Clark in the CW series “90210,” Eden Lord in “Nip/Tuck,” and Cat Green in “Days of Our Lives,” defended their decision to crowdfund their wedding.

The couple’s wedding over the weekend was the first of three planned celebrations. The other two will be held in London, England, and Cambodia, where they have planned a “traditional” celebration, the Daily Mail reports. For their wedding in Los Angeles, McCord looked gorgeous in an ivory dress with floral-embroidered details. She also wore a long veil and statement jewelry on her wrists.
Cipriani, a former rugby player, wore a navy suit, leaving the top buttons of his shirt undone for a more relaxed finish. McCord had 12 bridesmaids who wore pink dresses in various shades and styles. In contrast, those sitting on Cipriani’s side of the altar wore navy.
McCord celebrated her marriage with a post on Instagram on Sunday, August 23, introducing herself as “Mrs AnnaLynne Ciprani.” In the video clip, she is in bed, lying next to her new husband who appears to still be asleep. “I married the love of my life yesterday,” she tells the camera. “And it’s real; it wasn’t a dream.”

Before their wedding, McCord and Ciprani were criticized for crowdfunding, which they did by setting up a registry list on Honeyfund and asking for help with items like photography and beverages. McCord defended this decision in an interview with The Sun. “I was told I was despicable and that I was trying to extort money from my wedding guests. People actually donated ten dollars towards the wedding so they could write on the site that Danny and I were disgusting …,” McCord said, Daily Mail reports.
She continued, “Everyone was asking what they could give us. I was like, I have five blenders. I have everything for my home,” she said. “We wrote on the wedding invite that in lieu of gifts we would love to feel our guests’ contributions in the flowers, music and on our big day. I didn’t know that it was an open link until a co-star at work asked me: ‘Are you crowdfunding for your wedding?’”
