Could These ‘Survivor 50’ Players Make It to a Second Final Tribal Council?

Ozzy Lusth, Benjamin ‘Coach’ Wade, Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick, Chrissy Hofbeck, Aubry Bracco, and Joe Hunter all have one thing in common. They’ve already sat before a “Survivor” jury at least once, and they’re all still standing in Season 50 with a real shot at doing it again.

Making it to the Final Tribal Council once is a “Survivor” career-defining achievement. Doing it twice, especially on the most competitive returnee season in the show’s 25-year history, would be something else entirely. The Blood Moon merge is now behind the tribe, and the individual game is officially underway. Here’s a look at which of these six players has the game to pull it off.

Ozzy Lusth has played “Survivor” five times and has only made it to a Final Tribal Council once. On Season 13, “Survivor: Cook Islands,” Lusth finished in second place with a 5-4-0 vote. In Season 50, he’s already survived early chaos, found an advantage at the merge, and escaped the Blood Moon twist entirely with a trip to Exile Island. Ozzy could shake his reputation as an unbeatable jury threat and lean into the social bonds he’s been quietly building. A Final Tribal Council appearance has never been more realistic in his entire “Survivor” career.

Benjamin ‘Coach’ Wade has been one of Season 50’s most genuinely surprising stories. No longer the self-mythologizing “Dragon Slayer,” Coach has reinvented himself as the “Tide Walker.” He made it to the Final Tribal Council on Season 23, “Survivor: South Pacific,” where he finished as runner-up. In Season 50, his stronger relationships and more flexible strategic thinking have kept him in a solid position deep into the merge. If he keeps adapting to the New Era pace around him, a second Final Tribal Council run is absolutely within reach.

Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick has been quietly reminding everyone why she’s one of the most respected players in the game’s history. A runner-up on Season 11, “Survivor: Guatemala,” Stephenie won individual immunity during the Blood Moon twist and has built genuine cross-era connections, giving her a credible path to the end. She’s dangerous precisely because people keep underestimating her.

The New Era Threats Rewriting Their Survivor Stories

Chrissy Hofbeck reached the Final Tribal Council on Season 35, “Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers,” without ever having her torch snuffed. She’s carrying that unbeaten streak into the Season 50 merge. A proven challenge performer and a patient, under-the-radar strategist, Chrissy has positioned herself perfectly in a field full of louder, more visible threats.

Aubry Bracco is a runner-up, a three-time player, and one of the sharpest strategic minds still in the game. She first reached the Final Tribal Council on Season 32, “Survivor: Kaôh Rōng,” where she finished in second place. She’s dodging targets at every turn and has already made bold moves when it counted most. A second Final Tribal Council appearance would be the defining Survivor moment this fanbase has waited years to see.

Joe Hunter has never had his torch snuffed across two seasons of “Survivor.”  A remarkable stat in a cast this cutthroat. He reached Final Tribal Council on Season 48, “Survivor 48,” and now enters Season 50 with that same clean record intact. Likable, loyal, and consistently underestimated, Joe has built the kind of authentic relationships that win jury votes. If he makes it to a second Final Tribal Council, don’t be surprised if he wins the whole thing.
