Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay frequently hosts big names at his restaurants. Recently, singer Taylor Swift and her fiance, Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, dined at his Lucky Cat restaurant in London.
The pair were visiting Europe to attend a friend’s wedding in Greece. During the trip, they also ventured to London.
Although Gordon Ramsay didn’t get a chance to mingle with them, he’s glad they stopped by.
Gordon Ramsay Fawns Over the Couple & Says They ‘Had a Blast’
Entertainment Tonight caught up with Gordon Ramsay to ask how he felt about one of the biggest power couples in the world choosing his restaurant for dinner.
“Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were just at your London restaurant,” the reporter tells the celebrity chef, who beams from ear to ear. “How cool was that? Did you get to see them? Were you there at the same time?”
Sadly, Ramsay didn’t get to see the power couple enjoy his establishment. He noted that he was at another spot working at the time. However, he thought it was “lovely” that they stopped by.
“They were in high spirits, classy couple, and they had an absolute blast,” Chef Ramsay noted.
Photographers snapped images of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift holding hands on their way to Lucky Cat. Fans thought the singer looked absolutely stunning in a matching lacy black top and skirt combo. She added a pair of strappy black heels to match.
The Celebrity Chef Has No Shortage of Ongoing Projects
Although Gordon Ramsay feels disappointed he didn’t get to meet Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, it’s completely understandable that he missed them. In the interview, Rasmay dished on his ongoing television production.
“You are here promoting so many different series,” Entertainment Tonight continued. “We’ve got ‘MasterChef,’ ‘Next Level Chef,’ and I think there’s even more going on. How many shows do you have currently in production with Fox?”
“You know what? I think there’s one for each and every day,” Chef Ramsay quipped. “I think there’s five currently going on. ‘Secret Service,’ I go in undercover. I break in, well I get keys, and I go in the night before, I find all the sort of naughty parts, and I go outside in my surveillance van and I study hard.”
With the rigorous production schedule, the reporter wondered when the celebrity chef made time to sleep.
“I sleep in the air,” he nonchalantly replied.
Family Always Remains a Priority
When Gordon Ramsay isn’t busy working on his numerous television projects and running restaurants, he’s a dedicated family man. He and his wife, Tana, are the parents of six children: Megan, 28, twins Holly and Jack, 26, Tilly, 24, Oscar, 7, and Jesse, 2.
Many members of the family have made appearances on Ramsay’s various competition shows. The Netflix docuseries, “Being Gordon Ramsay,” explores the chef’s ongoing challenge to balance his personal and professional lives. It’s not always easy, but he always finds a way.
The “Next Level Chef” season 5 finale airs on Thursday, May 21, on Fox.
