“The Bachelor” franchise has been responsible for several celebrated relationships, including Jason and Molly Mesnick. The married couple had quite a controversial love story during season 13, with Jason’s initial finalist being contestant Melissa Rycroft, before he admitted on the “After the Final Rose” special that he was still in love with Molly.
Now, Molly and Jason are celebrating 16 years of marriage alongside their two children. The beloved couple continues to share their lives with fans on social media, and recently revealed that they have added a new family member.
Molly & Jason Mesnick Reveal Their New Dog to Fans
“The Bachelor” couple Molly and Jason Mesnick shared a major family update on Instagram, sharing with their fans that they are now the proud owners of a dog named Winnie.
At first, the former reality stars teased fans with an adorable video of their family walking through the door, joined by a cute, tiny puppy trotting close behind. “A little family update 😊 More to come 🤍,” Molly captioned her post.
Several Bachelor Nation stars commented on the post, expressing excitement and sharing how happy they were for the Mesnick family and their newest furry addition.
“Oooooo sweetheart!!!!!” Jillian Harris wrote. “I cannnnnnot!!! ❤️” Trista Sutter shared. “Yes!!! Hahah how cute!!!❤️” Desiree Siegfried gushed.
Just a few days later, Molly gave fans a much-needed update on the family’s new dog, sharing a video of their daughter, Riley, snuggling with Winnie and the small pup lying on Jason’s lap.
“🐾 Winnie Mesnick 🐾 Meet the new queen of the castle! 🐶 Winnie is a 3lb, 12 week old Maltipoo and she has settled right in!!” Molly’s caption began.
She continued, “She has the sweetest personality (for now 🤪). Loves to snuggle, hops like a bunny when she runs and is amazingly independent when we want her to be!”
Additionally, Molly shared that Winnie already impressed the family with her crate-training skills and is “litter box trained.” Which, who knew dogs could do?
“NEVER did I ever think we’d have a dog, but here we are and we’re loving it! (Yes, Riley especially 🥹 IYKYK). Give me a few days to be an annoying dog mom on IG, then I promise I’ll back off 😆,” she said.
The Mesnick’s Celebrate 16 Years of Marriage
Molly and Jason marked a major milestone this year, celebrating 16 years of marriage. The couple tied the knot in a televised ceremony in February 2010 that fans will never forget, especially as the rain poured down on them as they were pronounced husband and wife.
To honor 16 years together, Molly dedicated an Instagram post to her husband, sharing a selfie of herself and Jason and stating that he pulled out all the stops to make Molly feel incredibly special that day.
“Ladies…find yourself a Jason. He treated today – our 16th wedding anniversary- as if it were my birthday,” she began.
“I woke up to flowers. He booked me a massage. Asked to take me to lunch (which I politely declined and got Taco Bell instead 😂) and he booked 2 different dinner reservations – not knowing what I would be in the mood for. I call him a “gem” of a human all the time, but he is so much more than that. He is kind. He is caring. He is fair. His moral compass runs deep and his priorities always land in doing the right thing!”
“My life today would not be as amazing as it is without him! @jasonmesnick – I’d marry you a thousand times over in the pouring rain! I love you. Cheers to 160 more years! 🌧️ ❤️🌹,” she concluded.
Jason also took to Instagram to celebrate the couple’s 16 years together, sharing several photos of the two, including snapshots from their wedding day.
“You are my everything, my reality check, my biggest supporter, and the only person who can look at me mid-spiral and get me back on track. I love that our life doesn’t feel separated into work and home. It’s all blended together with friends who feel like family. Chaos that somehow works even though it’s not always calm. Happy anniversary to us. You’re a little weird. Right once in a while 🤪. But somehow we’re better every year,” he touchingly wrote.
