Aiden Ross Shares His Thoughts on His ‘The Voice’ Season 28 Experience

Aiden Ross has been crowned “The Voice” Season 28 winner! After his incredible performance during the finale on Tuesday, December 16, fans of the show agree that he is a worthy winner. The victory also cemented Niall Horan’s success as a coach; he is undefeated, having won all three seasons he has been a part of, starting with Seasons 23 and 24. 

Heading into the finale, Ross had a lot of thoughts about his time on the singing competition and what a win would mean to him. He shared them in an Instagram post highlighting his experience.


Aiden Ross Expresses His Gratitude for ‘The Voice’ Season 28 Experience

“Regardless of who wins tonight, I am so grateful for this whole experience,” he wrote on Instagram ahead of the finale. “Thank you all for watching and supporting my journey on & off of The Voice. Each and every one of you mean so much to me. Watch tonight’s episode to find out who is Season 28’s Winner @nbcthevoice. You’ll get to see a fun holiday performance from me & a guest performer.” 

Ross performed “golden hour” by JVKE and a rendition of “The Winner Takes It All” by ABBA. He also performed a duet of Wham!’s “Last Christmas” alongside “The Voice” Season 23 champion, Gina Miles. 

Fans have shown their support for Ross in the post’s comments. “You’re amazing, Aiden!” a comment reads. “You have done so amazing this season you deserve to win!” another person shared. 

Other reactions include, “You are a rising Star and that journey is about to start – NOW,” “IM SOO HAPPY FOR YOU!! MY FAVORITE EVER I LOVE YOU,” and “You are so incredibly talented!! And can’t wait to see what you do from now on!!!”


Aiden Ross Celebrates ‘The Voice’ Season 28 Win 

Another statement from Ross is expected within the next few days, once his victory has had time to sink in and he can make sense of the feelings surrounding becoming the latest “The Voice” champion. 

A short clip posted directly after his win was shared on “The Voice” Instagram account. It shows Ross and Horan smiling for the cameras, with Ross holding his trophy. They make fists to show their victory, and Horan embraces his contestant. When Horan exits the stage to let the spotlight shine on Ross, he is asked about his feelings. “I don’t even know what to say,” he tells he camera. “Thank you,” he says to the audience. He also thanked his family and God.
