Kelly Clarkson & John Legend Stun Fans at Karaoke Bar (VIDEO)

People hanging out at New York City’s Baby Grand karaoke bar on February 19, 2026, got the surprise of their lives when “The Voice” coaches Kelly Clarkson and John Legend walked in, along with actor/comedian Druski.

Videos shot by lucky patrons who were there show the trio rocking out to multiple tunes, including Clarkson’s hit “Since U Been Gone,” as the crowd sang along.

Kelly Clarkson Gave Fans a Live Kellyoke Session

Clarkson, who frequently performs song covers during her “Kellyoke” segments on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” agreed to sing one of her own songs at Baby Grand after Druski began singing “Since U Been Gone” with the crowd. The social media account for “The Voice” picked up on fans’ videos of her raucous performance, sharing some of the footage online the following morning.

Content creator Emily Schwartz had a front row view of the superstar karaoke night and captured multiple videos of Clarkson, including her performing Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive.” Schwartz adorably likened it to a “RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE” in her caption.

Posting another up-close video of Clarkson belting out “Since U Been Gone,” Schwartz wrote, “I don’t think I’ll ever fully recover from this. DO YOU UNDERSTAND????”

Baby Grand also posted videos from the epic night, including footage of the trio — led by Clarkson — singing Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart” with the crowd gathered around the tiny stage.

John Legend RAPPED at Karaoke Bar With Kelly Clarkson as His Backup Dancer

Legend also shocked the crowd at Baby Grand by rapping “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” the timeless classic from fellow “The Voice” coach Snoop Dogg. Billboard first posted a video of Legend rapping every word as Clarkson and Druski danced like no one was watching.

Ironically, “The Voice” had posted a video earlier in the day of Legend, Clarkson, and their fellow “Battle of Champions” coach Adam Levine talking about their experiences doing karaoke. Laughing, Clarkson admitted her first karaoke performance was a Vanilla Ice tune.

“Once I got older, I decided I wouldn’t sing at karaoke and I would only rap,” Legend told them. “I only rap at karaoke now.”

Levine said that’s a “courteous way for a professional singer to do karaoke,” and Legend laughed, “I’m an amateur at rapping, so it makes me equal with all the amateur singing.”

Clarkson, Legend, and Levine kick off season 29 of NBC’s “The Voice” in its first-ever “Battle of Champions” on February 23 at 9 p.m. Eastern time.
