One of the biggest child stars of the ’90s, Danny Pintauro, has swapped the spotlight for an unexpected everyday job.
The actor, who played Jonathan on “Who’s The Boss,” shared his new gig on social media. He shared that this position has given him a fresh perspective on life as he simultaneously looks for more work in the entertainment business.
Danny Pintauro Is a Delivery Driver
In an Instagram post dated April 8, 2026, Danny Pintauro shared his latest gig. He’s currently working as a delivery driver.
The former “Who’s The Boss” star revealed the life update along with a new photo. Pintauro filmed the comedy sitcom alongside Tony Danza, Judith Light, Katherine Helmond, and Alyssa Milano from 1984 through 1992.
He wrote, “Working hard while ‘not working.’ The entertainment business has been soooo slow, so I’ve been doing what a lot of people do — figuring it out, showing up, and taking the work that’s there while I keep building the work I really want. 38 packages today!”
Pintauro concluded, “There’s no shame in staying in motion.”
The Former ‘Who’s The Boss’ Star Was Applauded By Fans For ‘Keeping It Real’
Danny Pintauro’s fans applauded him for “keeping it real” and showing that even if you were once a television star, that doesn’t mean you’re set for life. His post reminds everyone that everyone has to professionally pivot sometimes.

“Who’s The Boss” told the story of a former professional baseball player, Tony Micelli (Tony Danza), who took a job as a housekeeper to an ad executive, Angela Bower (Judith Light), and caregiver to her son, Jonathan (Danny Pintauro). He moved into her home with his daughter, Samantha (Alyssa Milano), and together, they formed an unlikely family.
The series ran on ABC for eight seasons. It began in 1984 and ran through 1992. The Television Academy called “Who’s The Boss” a “groundbreaking portrayal of family life that pivoted on gender role-reversal.”
The Television Academy continued, “The wholesome series, created by veteran writer-producers Blake Hunter and Martin Cohan, ran on ABC for eight seasons, from 1984 to ’92. Viewed by more than 30 million at its peak, it made the ratings’ top 10 from 1985 to ’89 and scored 10 Primetime Emmy nominations and one award, for lighting direction.”
