Beloved British actor Colin Firth, celebrated for his work in the “Bridget Jones” franchise, “The King’s Speech,” and “Kingsman: The Secret Service,” attended the premiere of his new film, “Disclosure Day,” at Cineworld Leicester Square in London on Thursday, June 4.

Firth was all smiles as he walked the red carpet, looking stylish in a classic black suit with a crisp white collared shirt and black tie. One reason for his smile may also have been that he attended the event with his girlfriend, Eleonora Perboni.

GettyPerboni also wore black for the occasion. She looked gorgeous as she posed alongside Firth in a long skirt and a fitted jacket. In photos, she can be seen gazing at him and smiling for the cameras. They look great together, and this outing was a rare public appearance for the couple. The first time they attended a public event was at the screening of “Hamnet” in October 2025, Daily Mail reports.

GettyFirth and Perboni have been dating for around two years, after Firth split from Maggie Cohn in 2022. Prior to Firth’s relationship with Cohn, he had been married to Livia Giuggioli. Firth and Giuggioli divorced in 2019 after 22 years together.
Firth was also in a long-term relationship with “Valmont” actress Meg Tilly, with whom he shares a son, Will. He took on the role of a stepfather to Tilly’s two children from a previous relationship, People reports. The couple split in 1994 but remained on good terms.
“He’s been a good father to Will, his son, but he’s also stayed very present in my other two children’s lives, Emily and David. He’s showed up for graduations, births of babies,” Tilly told People about her relationship with Firth. She also praised the actor for who he is and how he parented. “He’s a sweetheart. When Will was in the house, he would stay with us. And when I go to England we always have dinner and go out together. Livia is wonderful too. Yeah, if he wasn’t in the world, there would be a hole for me.”
During his relationship with his film-producer ex-wife, Giuggioli, Firth learned to speak Italian fluently and welcomed two sons, Luca and Matteo. They raised their family in Italy. In 2017, he applied for Italian citizenship.
“I was married there and had two children born in Rome. Anyone will tell you when you marry an Italian, you don’t just marry one person; you marry a family and perhaps an entire country,” he said, HuffPost reports. “Like almost everybody, I have a passionate love of Italy, and joining my wife and kids in being dual citizens will be a huge privilege.”
