Olivia Wilde‘s relationship with British art dealer Caspar Jopling — who happens to be Ellie Goulding‘s ex-husband — is apparently moving right along. At the same time, the star herself is moving on when it comes to real estate. The actress has just sold her Los Angeles home for $5.23 million.
Wilde originally picked up the “picturesque Studio City, CA, abode” in March 2023 for $5.9 million, according to Realtor.com. The purchase came as she and her former fiancé, Jason Sudeikis, were working out a joint custody settlement for their children, Otis and Daisy.
Although the star initially listed her home a few months before the sale for $6.2 million, the buyer seems to have snagged a bit of a deal on the fabulous residence.
The Home Offers ‘The Spirit of L.A. Living’
When the new owner moves into the Studio City home, they’ll be able to enjoy “the spirit of L.A. living—architectural pedigree, seamless indoor-outdoor flow, and layered, artful detail,” according to the listing, via Realtor.com.
Listed with Daria Greenabum of Compass, “[t]he property was originally designed by acclaimed architect Barbara Bestor and was completed in 1940.” Beyond that, the home “underwent an extensive ‘refresh’ in 2015, per the description.”
Offering four bedrooms, the house that spans 3,700 square feet also includes five and a half bathrooms. Boasting an open floor plan that can be enjoyed as soon as the residents step into the home, they can also appreciate the chef’s kitchen and “chic” dining room. That’s not to mention the living area, which is described as “cozy.”
When it’s time to retire for the day, the homeowners can head to the primary bedroom. An impressive space in itself, it also “comes complete with wide glass doors that open up to the home’s sprawling backyard…”
