HGTV’s ‘Bachelor Mansion Takeover’ Gets a Premiere Date & Fans Won’t Have to Wait Long

New details, including a premiere date, have emerged regarding the upcoming crossover show airing on HGTV featuring stars from Bachelor Nation.

“Bachelor Mansion Takeover” is set to debut on March 2, according to Deadline on January 15. The show concept had previously been announced in October.

Former “The Bachelorette” star Tayshia Adams is co-judging along with fan-favorite runner-up Tyler Cameron from Hannah Brown’s season. “The Bachelor” host Jesse Palmer is hosting “Bachelor Mansion Takeover.”

In addition to announcing the show’s premiere date on HGTV, details regarding the show’s guest judges have also emerged.

Several Fan Favorite Bachelor Nation & HGTV Stars Will Be Guest Judges

“Bachelor Mansion Takeover” will consist of six episodes, with the first airing on Monday, March 2, at 8 p.m. ET. In addition, episodes can be accessed the following day on HBO Max.

The series has tapped a handful of additional Bachelor Nation alums to be guest judges, and some HGTV personalities will also pop up.

Former “The Bachelorette” JoJo Fletcher will be a guest judge, as will Sean Lowe. As Bachelor Nation fans know, both Lowe and Fletcher already have ties to real estate and house flipping, so viewers can likely expect some solid insight from them.

HGTV’s Nate Berkus will be a guest judge, as will “The Bachelor” super fan and “The O.C.” alum Rachel Bilson. HGTV star Christina Haack will appear in an episode, as well.

Whichever contestant is the last one standing on “Bachelor Mansion Takeover” will win $100,000.

Alliances & Eliminations Will Factor Into the ‘Bachelor Mansion Takeover’ Series

The debut of “Bachelor Mansion Takeover” will bring in Brown to give her take on the makeovers done on the home’s bunk bedrooms. The ladies’ room will have a Mediterranean feel after the renovations. As for the men’s rooms, the new versions will show hints of Santorini, Greece, and Tuscany, Italy.

Us Weekly shared that the initial challenge involves “renovation math,” and the winner receives immunity from elimination. Then, the contestants break into two teams to tackle the bunkbed rooms. In addition, a “fate card” pops up and brings forth the first elimination long before contestants expect it.

Bachelor Nation personalities previously announced as contestants include former “The Bachelor” winner Courtney Robertson Preciado, “The Golden Bachelorette” Joan Vassos, and “Bachelor in Paradise” fan favorites Noah Erb and Dean Bell (formerly Unglert).

The rest of the cast includes Sandra Mason, Jill Chin, Jeremy Simon, Brendan Morais, Tammy Ly, Sam McKinney, Allyshia Gupta, and Christopher Stallworth.

Not only will the bunkbed rooms get a fresh look, but the group will also tackle several other spaces. Areas incorporated into “Bachelor Mansion Takeover” will include the “rose room,” the “mixer room,” the kitchen, terrace, and pool area. Palmer explained, “For the first time ever we’re pulling back the curtain and revealing the mansion as you’ve never seen it before.”

“Palmer added, “Our 12 contestants have already lived through the twists and turns of ‘The Bachelor’ franchise. They know this is not going to be easy. And the clock is ticking because this renovation has to be finished before a new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ begins.”

To make it to the end, the Bachelor Nation contestants will have to not only come up with creative design ideas, but they’ll also need to make alliances and survive eliminations.
