HGTV Enlists ‘The Bachelor’ Franchise Stars for New Competition Show: Meet the Cast

Five months after HGTV first announced an upcoming show tentatively titled “Renovating the Bachelor Mansion,” the network has revealed more than a dozen alums from “The Bachelor” franchise will appear on the competition series, now called “Bachelor Mansion Takeover,” per The Hollywood Reporter (THR).

On October 14, 2025, HGTV revealed that the show will be judged by two of the franchise’s most famous former contestants, Tayshia Adams and Tyler Cameron, and hosted by ESPN correspondent Jesse Palmer, who was “The Bachelor” in 2004 and took over for Chris Hamilton as host of the franchise in 2022.

How ‘Bachelor Mansion Takeover’ Will Work

Across six episodes to premiere in 2026, per THR, 12 former contestants from “The Bachelor,” “The Bachelorette,” “The Golden Bachelor,” and “The Golden Bachelorette” will compete as they renovate the home in Agoura Hills, California, where contestants have stayed since the franchise began.

Adams and Cameron will judge the renovations along with a surprise guest judge, as the contestants “swap roses for paintbrushes and cocktail attire for overalls in weekly elimination challenges,” the show’s official logline said. By the end of the competition, one franchise alum will win $100,000.

Howard Lee, chief creative officer for Warner Bros. Discovery’s U.S. networks including HGTV, said in a statement, “When we learned the Bachelor Mansion needed a serious makeover, we knew only HGTV could give the iconic property a renovation worthy of the name. We’re welcoming fan favorites and memorable cast members from throughout Bachelor history to the HGTV family and can’t wait to see what they get up to in this first of its kind competition for the network.”

HGTV and ABC teased the crossover with a social media post featuring Adams and Cameron on the morning of October 14, and later promoted the upcoming show in a separate Instagram post. Adams commented, “Happy to be back in the Mansion!!! 😉 And definitely for the right reasons!!!🤭”
