It’s the crossover event of the year! “Bachelor” fans and HGTV fans are united as the beloved Bachelor Mansion gets a makeover in “Bachelor Mansion Takeover.” The first trailer has been released.
‘Bachelor Mansion Takeover’ Trailer
The first look at the upcoming season of “Bachelor Mansion Takeover” is finally here.
“Welcome to the most dramatic renovation competition this mansion has ever seen,” host Jesse Palmer said during the trailer for the highly anticipated “Bachelor Mansion Takeover,” which was shared by People on Thursday, February 5.
“For almost 20 years, this mansion has been the stage for roses and rejections,” he continued, “It’s where fairy tales began, and where hearts were broken.”
“But now, this legendary house is about to get a transformation of its own. We’ve brought together 12 Bachelor Nation alumni with real design and build expertise t give this place the makeover it deserves,” Palmer added.
As the network previously revealed, returning stars include Jill Chin, Joan Vassos, Allyshia Gupta, Dean Bell, Noah Erb, Tammy Ly, Sandra Mason, Sam McKinney, Brendan Morais, Courtney Robertson Preciado, Jeremy Simon and Christopher Stallworth.
“They’ll build. They’ll be judged. They’ll compete. And in the end, only one will be crowned the winner and walk away with a $100,000 cash prize,” Palmer continued. “The tools are real. The drama is real. And the stakes have never been higher.”
What Is ‘Bachelor Mansion Takeover’?
HGTV announced last year that the iconic Bachelor Mansion was getting a makeover.
“For the first time ever we’re pulling back the curtain and revealing the mansion as you’ve never seen it before,” Jesse Palmer said at the time. “Our 12 contestants have already lived through the twists and turns of The Bachelor franchise. They know this is not going to be easy. And the clock is ticking because this renovation has to be finished before a new season of The Bachelorette begins.”
In addition to the 12 fan-favorite former stars and Palmer, Tayshia Adams and Tyler Cameron will serve as judges. HGTV will also be calling in the big guns as guest judges, from “Flip or Flop” star Christina Haack, HGTV’s Nate Berkus and “The Bachelorette” JoJo Fletcher, to former “Bachelor” Sean Lowe and “The O.C.” star Rachel Bilson.
“Bachelor Mansion Takeover” will consist of six episodes, with the first airing on Monday, March 2, at 8 p.m. ET. In addition, episodes can be accessed the following day on HBO Max.

The Bachelor franchise is trying to milk it for everything they can. This sounds so stupid. What will they have next? Rejected Bachelors at their therapist? Hey that might be a hit! The Bachelors and their moms go shopping? Bachelors and their cats?
No doubt this will be a disaster. That house was built to replicate an old Spanish Villa and with great detail and craftsmanship. There’s no way it ends well.
