Hallmark fans have been eager to see a new movie in the “Curious Caterer” series. Fan favorites Nikki DeLoach and Andrew Walker have starred as Goldy Berry and Detective Tom Schultz in five movies so far, with the last one airing in October 2024. Could another one be on the horizon?
Both Walker and DeLoach recently acknowledged the fans and their desire for another “Curious Caterer” movie. Both Hallmark stars seem interested in reprising their roles. Unfortunately, so far, Hallmark moved ahead on the idea. Now, some fans are taking an additional step in hopes of making it happen.
Nikki DeLoach & Andrew Walker Have Been Advocating for Another ‘Curious Caterer’ Movie
In late January, DeLoach shared a note about the “Curious Caterer” series in an Instagram Story. She wrote, “For everyone reaching out about the Curious Caterer movies that aired this past weekend and when we will get more, thank you so much for continuing to love and support our series!”
DeLoach continued, “@awalkk35 and I have advocated hard for more. We have one script ready to go.”
However, she added, “With that being said, there has been zero forward movement. If you’d like more Curious Caterer, please let @hallmarkchannel know on their page. Thank you for sending so much love.”
Walker shared DeLoach’s post via his own Instagram Stories a short while later. The statement came amid a multi-day run marathon of the previous “Curious Caterer” movies on Hallmark in late January.
A Petition to Hallmark Is Garnering Support
Fans have been speaking out for some time in hopes that Hallmark will move forward with the script that DeLoach referenced. Now, some fans have taken their efforts a step further.
On March 1, one fan took to the Hallmark Movies subreddit to share a petition about the situation.
The Reddit user wrote, “Hey Sleuthers! Are you Dying for Chocolate… or just dying for a new Curious Caterer? Nikki DeLoach recently revealed they have a fully baked script ready to go, and both she and Andrew Walker are eager to return.”
The post continued, “The problem? Hallmark has left the project sitting on the back burner with zero forward movement. Don’t let these Foiled Plans ruin our Grilling Season just yet.”
“We need to whisk up some serious support and show the network we’re hungry for more! Putting Goldy and Tom’s story on ice would be a huge miss-steak!”
Indeed, a petition on the website change.org has been started in hopes of nudging Hallmark forward on filming a new “Curious Caterer.”
Catherine, the person who started the petition explained, “I have been capitivated not only by the intriguing plots by but the tremendous on-screen chemistry between Tom and Goldy.”
They continued, “Their partnership is one of the best I’ve ever seen on television, blending mystery, charm, and romance in a way that leaves us longing for more.”
“Hallmark, you have struck gold with this duo, and their story deserves to continue.”
In less than 24 hours, the petition has received about 70 signatures. One fan commented, “This series is not only a truly enjoyable series to watch and enjoy, it’s a series that my mom and I can watch together, even though we live states apart.”
The reaction from other fans on Reddit was quite positive. One person suggested that they needed a Goldy and Tom wedding, and someone else noted they love the movies and hope more are made.
Another Redditor wrote, “It’s incredibly frustrating. It might be the best mystery series out right now, but if they wait too long, they lose momentum and people move on. Come on Hallmark! We need more Goldie and Tom!”
Please Hallmark, give us more Curious Caterer films. I have read all the novels that spawned this series and I believe there were sixteen total. That should give quite a few more storylines. Great books, great movies.

Dear Hallmark!!! While I understand that searching for other stories to tell is important….and, in some cases..cheaper….than continuing with established and appreciated series…PLEASE…CONSIDER THE MILLIONS OF HALLMARK FOLLOWERS…who continually ask you to continue fan favorites such as Curious Caterer, Mystery 101 ( at lease give us a conclusion to the teaser cliffhanger), Gourmet Detective, and Martha’s Vinyard just to name a few. If you can drone on with endless Aurora Teagarden…then the Aurora Teagarden the early days…surely you can utilize these wonderful actors and respond to the multitude of requests for more of their series. AND let me be clear…I don’t have anything against Aurora Teargarden…I am using her as an example. The actors in the aforementioned series are established as fan favorites and literally are a built-in success. Please consider what I know, from following instagram..etc., are requests from many Hallmark viewers. Thank you!
Put it back on or you will lose a lot of fans of Hallmark and I am one of them you find a great duo and thin you stop it that is not right
We would love to see another Curious Caterer movie. If any one has read the books, you will know that Goldie and Tom get married very early along in the book series. There are a lot of fans that love the movies so please consider another movie with more to follow.
I have read the entire series of books so there are many more stories to be told. Please bring Curious Caterer back and Mystery 101. Thank heavens you finally saw the light and renewed Sarah Drew’s series. Many of us are avid fans of the mystery series so don’t make us go to Prime to get mystery films.
Hey Hallmark, stop worrying so much about charging fans to watch Hallmark+ and continue on with what the fans are asking for now. More Curious Caterer with Tom and Goldie would be a start. If not, maybe your viewers might start to drift away.
